Working on sound today and realizing that JS volume control of the HTML web audio element which is problematic with iOS Safari. I'm using `howler.js` to try and remedy to no avail yet. Has anybody else has ever dealt with such a problem?

Updated the 1st ending to better lean on collaborative software dev while slightly hinting at semantic ui for humans and agents. Multiple people join a new 'committee' the antagonist started

It feels fun to push and market the bleeding edge but customers buy the 'job to be done'. If that's not common nor clear, it's a harder sell overall to general and highly targeted prospects

To do that, I’m leaning on the book “The Goal” in second ending, and learning about generative UI ala CopilotKit for the first. If anyone has resources or recs on who to talk to, let me know 🙂

My editor Eric updated the story today, and am now looking to refine the first 2 endings. Design systems are adapting to serve humans & agents. The protagonist needs insight and a glimpse into how his role will need to change.

Are tech media influencers validly whining about Anthropic or is it just sad rage bait? I understand the updated TOS, enforcement, and 3rd party tool use pricing…I just thought the generous subsidies would eventually end and membership tiers would be limited to their products

When I occasionally look at SWE job opportunities in Germany, I get sad how seemingly 95% involves PHP or Java 😒

Reach, positioning, and editorial influence for a daily 4-hour “Larry King live” interview show where guests get an unconditional PR stage. Ain’t much diff from a16z buying Turpentine

I find it hilarious OpenAI bought the “tech bro PR net” TBPN. Reminds me of a16z buying Turpentine podcast net, a few years after shuttering a16z future.com It’s always about buying reach to influence editorial + ad impressions

One thing that I watch out for now is when apps or commands offer help to install plugins/etc, is WHERE it's actually done. Bc right now, it feels like a 'npm install -g' moment and I'm waiting around with a fly swatter

I considered adding beads, but that seems more appropriate at a project-level if doing long term iterative development

At the User level, I now only have the following: claude-mem (or mem0 for other agents), context-mode (process output saved outside chat), context7 (multidocs search + retrieval), and superpowers

Asking the agent to analyze each skill, plugin, mcp has been enlightening to understand how much is being plugged into the context window and how often (system vs. each turn).

This week I've been learning where agent skills/plugins are installed, optimizing them, and reverse-engineering an image annotation skill from screenshots + descriptions with nano banana pro (very cool!). Now doing various remotion + agent tuts, optimizing github.com/remotion-dev...

It’s a bit cringe when I think of tech YouTubers who mix drama farming, sensationalism, rage baiting, mixed with occasional great insights. From the Economist style guide:

The core of swe balances technical, economic, and ethical forces—a human-centric task that AI currently can't do. Those who master systems theory & high-level complexity mgmt are poised to thrive, as industry shifts focus from "plumbing" & raw code gen to orchestrating complex, large-scale systems

Last summer, as OpenAI sought to transition from nonprofit to for-profit, civil society groups pressed the company for accountability. Tyler Johnston, the founder of an AI watchdog, was among them. Then OpenAI showed up with a subpoena at his door. My latest for @moreperfectunion.bsky.social.

Which brings up an open-ended question of how particular interfaces can adapt to what the person is doing, how far are they along, etc. This being related to CC asking qualifying questions with multiple choice responses before proceeding.

Makes me wish Claude Code plugin had a simple "ask" mode as well, as well as stopping after a plan is accepted instead of jumping right into implementation. The editor layout and usage made me realize it's an adaptive interface for different users including designers.

Seems obvious a 3-tiered PR system for internal, reputable external, and external submissions. This would better mimic the real world In clubs where longtime members, but not staff organizers, have prioritized and higher regarded contributions than new members and attendees.

What's interesting is that it actively encourages categorizing a segment into different types, so that it's not necessarily just about ads, but a variety of other segment types. That way, viewers can whitelist/filter segments. Submitters see an attribute checklist to review before sent.

Gotta say, SponsorBlock is a neat example of crowdsourcing. It's a browser plugin for YT where people can easily submit time segments of a video to a central DB that's then synced to all other users, allowing the playhead to auto skip noted segments. sponsor.ajay.app Obv not fab for producers
