Acid reflux is so awful. I started getting it after a bad reaction to meds and the first time I was legitimately about to trek to the ER before someone said "I bet it's acid reflux". I can usually tame mine with allertec, weirdly enough, but it always catches me off guard.

Gremlins. I think there was a preview at a movie when I was young that technically got me first, but the first I remember was Gremlins being shown on tv. I hated it so much I pretended to be sick and went to lay down in my parents room, only to have my stepmom come in and turn it on in there. 🙃

I'm sure there *are* plenty of people saying this, but the most prevalent idea I've heard is a side road to it. Fandom spaces did get flooded w/ a lot of new blood but, more than that, spaces became more centralized and public facing. Drama and toxicity are less contained, more prone to virality.
