Thanks Roos, I hope she doesn't mind the squirrels, have to wait and see.

Here, when you are interviewing for a job in IT, often they make you go thru a lot of background checks, drug tests and fingerprinting. Doesn't mean you will get the job but still have to go through those steps as part of the process.

Thanks Roos, leg does not pain me unless it gives out, I am sure I made a wrong move with it at some point on the stairs probably, no falls. When a leg gives out though, you could easily have a bad fall if your not careful and holding on to a rail or something. I will be walking more tomorrow.

Wish you good night of sleep too. My new neighbor (one who moved into Mary Jane's place) is really into flowers, was out there all day planting perennials and working in the area, has a lot of energy for that kind of thing. Eva Marie Saint passed at 102 today, was big fan of North by Northwest.

Glad you at least were able to get out there and get in a walk and also avoid the rain. The temp still is pretty nice here & will drop down into 40s in early morning, looks like you have more rain coming your way tomorrow. I have to go for fingerprints and haircut tomorrow, that is busy day for me.

Great funny cartoon Roos and sweet skunky was good about all the teasing. I look forward to seeing who will show up tonight. I am always surprised just how much Rocky can eat each night, endless pit. I did not get out much today, as I might of twisted/sprain my right leg a bit, was giving out on me.

I know raccoons, originally bought as imported pets in Japan, were often released and caused damaged to many religious structures but once again that is no fault of their own, people bought them because they looked cute and then tired of them as they grew out of their pup stage.

vegansquirrelman.bsky.social @vegansquirrelman.bsky.social · 6h

I have seen accounts out there (mostly in Instagram) in which people take care of lots of raccoon families, so very precious. There are other people that speak of raccoons as if their the worse animal on Earth. I know they can cause damage but I know they don't do it on purpose to cause harm.

Yes, you have to be completely focused and not in a situation which you can be distracted.

To be honest, I feel really bad at times that I can't invite him in and make him happy. I don't really know if Rocky is male or female, would love to see babies.

Thanks, she surprised me in that video allowing me that favor. Clara was actually much more gentle a foxer but Carrie would climb up on me more and eat her treats in my lap, I really loved that kind of trust.

I try to use that as an identifier too but I think a similar grey has same marking, can't remember if Storm does or not.

I almost made a mistake with him today, I was handfeeding and he swatted nut off mu fingers and then leaped a bit towards my hand but then backed away. Would have been my fault 100% if I got bit/scratched.

If there are chips in area, most likely they will end up chasing Bun Bun away, not so much on purpose but their just running every which way and that bothers Bun Buns

Lil Stub is a joy for sure, love making him happy

I was very surprised to see possum, have been thinking of them lately but had not seen any for months. Was even more surprised that this one did not react to me at the door, often they wander away if they don't know you are safe. I like that possums, skunks, raccoons (and even feral cats) eat together

She did run the porch shop, was odd to see her so much during the day, luckily she never sprayed here.

Yes, it is funny how bold some of the chips are. It is hilarious to see them chase the tree squirrels away too. Some of the tree squirrels like Scamp and White Nose would never run from them, some of the others do though.

I am still wondering if she is an animal over, I think she likes birds, not sure about the rest. I think she knows I am, so may not be speaking up too much if she is anti-squirrel, just don't know yet.

Bun Buns would be so happy to have this little shelter/hut to lay in and enjoy all those hazelnuts and grapes you put out for them in this picture. Soon the chips will be in torpor so maybe they will gain better access to my treats, rabbits do enter torpors too but for shorter periods of time.

It was gorgeous out today (still is 70F right now), I walked up to Mall, walked around the complex here a couple times and the churchyard too. Enjoy your evening, hopefully it is comfortable sleeping. I was just talking to new neighbor, she is planting perennials now.

That's interesting Roos, my cousin normally gets hers from Starbucks too. She liked the version at Mad Nice coffee better though, which surprised me because she is very much a Starbucks fan. I will have to try again someday.
