However, I'll also be open-sourcing the site, so future updates may be possible if others want to make contributions. The code will be MIT-licensed, so if someone wants to make a fork and host it themselves, that's also an option, though I plan on keeping this version up indefinitely.

This is the last update I plan on releasing for the game. The last of the planned dailies is September 14. After that, random entries from the database will be chosen each day, and I can't guarantee the quality (or even the correctness) of the random picks.

Hi all! Update on SiIvaGuessr - I've pushed version 1.01: - A few small (overdue!) bug fixes. - When playing previous dailies in the archive, the Back button beneath the results display will now auto-scroll to the Daily you just finished. - The strikes system has been removed.

Even after the big mook gets the drop on him, and lifts him up to do a body slam, Bond, now upside down and swinging around, continues to just... gawp at the lizard like it's the coolest thing he's ever seen. I've never related to this character more, honestly.

Re-watching Skyfall, and I'm always immensely amused by this moment, where highly trained secret agent 007 gets stunlocked in the middle of a deadly fistfight because he saw a Komodo dragon, and just... points at it. He's still a teenage boy at heart. "LOOK, COOL LIZARD!"

Hi! Sorry about that. I made a mistake implementing the logic for the April Fool's Day puzzle. It's supposed to disable all strikes for that puzzle, but instead what I implemented disabled all strikes on ALL puzzles... But only on April 1, 2026. 🙃 (Sorry about the near-duplicate answers as well)

Hahaha, sorry. Saturdays will always be a multi-joke rip, but I'm pretty sure that was the longest one in the schedule by far (it's one of my personal favourites). Win streaks don't reset until two days in a row are missed or lost, so you're welcome to skip one if you don't gel with it. 🙂

This is intentional; Sicko Mode is forced off for rips that don't have a strong resemblance to the source track. If you compare the rip to the original M3 song, I doubt anyone would be able to guess it. I did forget to document/indicate this feature, though, so I'll have to add something for that.

Also, I've added a grace rule for win streaks - A single loss will no longer reset your win streak (but it won't increase for that day). Two losses in a row, or skipping more than one day, *will* reset a win streak, however. I think this strikes a good balance considering how hard the game can be.

There are still some issues with the song database; please let me know if you spot any duplicated songs. In particular, any reports of bugs or display issues on Mac & iOS are especially helpful, as I don't have the means to test those platforms myself. Hope everyone continues to enjoy the game! 🙂

SiIvaGuessr has been updated to v0.86. With this update comes a few much-requested features, including an archive of past dailies! The beta version of the site did not save your results per-question, so early adopters can feel free to replay the dailies and cram some easy wins into their history.

With the current implementation, for multi joke rips, it'll be considered a win if at least 51% of answers are guessed correctly.

Interesting! This appears to be a bug in the extension itself, related to the domain name. I've raised an issue with the maintainers, but there doesn't appear to be a good workaround, since the domain doesn't seem to have an allow-list. On the plus side, it probably shouldn't have any impact.

This is still in beta, with a few small known issues, particularly with custom quizzes, and a handful of song names in the database having minor variant duplicates, which I intend to fix soon. Please let me know if you spot anything amiss!

I've been gradually reading through the Discworld series, which has been absolutely delightful. Light comedic fantasy with a healthy dose of social satire. I usually recommend starting with "Guards! Guards!" to see if you gel with it, then check out the rest in order if so.
