I hate the thing that always happens when I have a really good day and I get so many things done and then the next day is so frustrating bc I remember what it’s like to be on top of things and now my body needs to recover so long again.

Been struggling with another dialogue system in Unreal for my Applied Project. @yarnspinner.dev was on sale, jumped over to Unity and got it set up in like 5 mins 🥲🙏 Saves me so much time I can now devote to other parts of my project.

It’s funny, we had the opportunity to purchase a ribbon maker/embosser and we passed on it bc it just seemed like something extraneous to invest in (and we didn’t have space for it in the studio.)

Same. Doesn’t help that Julian and I are most productive at that time and come home from work/school late.

I've been hopping on the treadmill nearly every morning to manage my dizziness, but also to get active again and yes, fun to workout, but I also enjoy staying up late 🥲

Oof that gets me big time too. I cannot for the life of me play Bloodborne or No Man's Sky without debilitating dizziness. Sometimes making your screen smaller helps but wild that there's no mouse sensitivity controls. I hope it gets better for you! Anti-nausea meds might help if an option for you.

Right there with you! I have Vestibular Migraines and hoo boy is everything inaccessible, especially as a grad student making an Unreal game. Newer games are getting them, but still a long way. I wear FL-41 tinted glasses to help with the visual overstimulation, as well as limit work time.

For me, I’ve been using the iPad Pro/pencil/csp set up for years. I like it and the durability of the Pro iPad. Portability is great. I have a huion kamvas for my desktop setup but don’t use it nearly as often as my iPad.

Hobonichis came in! Went for the Poppy Weeks and picked up a new Techo cover since I’ve been using the blue for a couple years. Still working on the layout for the interior techo but the others will be mostly B-side label that I got in Kyoto just for this. Show me your planners!

Hi, this is your seasonal reminder to back up your computer, your cell phone, your voice recorder, your memory cards, anything you think is important. Make multiple copies, because hard drives fail and are very expensive right now. Sometimes you drop you phone into a lake. Do it sooner than later.
