It's not QUITE what I wanted (was hoping the lion arm would be white) but it's still a lovely homage

"Yes we all know about the shattered glass repaints, used to be coveted. What does Hasbro have that's NEW?"

I LOOOOOOVE how lego shenron looks. I'm so glad they didn't smooth him or round everything off on his body, I think the angles and exposed studs make it feel like a much older set, and I mean that in a good way. This FEELS like lego.

It'll be my first comic! I don't have a release date for it yet, I wanna get the first few issues done so I can have a backlog before it's out.

Need to lock in and get to work on some original comic pages. I love being a colorist but imma make sure I'm known for more than just that >:)

Too bad they completely ruined Demolishor after he got upgraded to discount Long Haul 🥲

110

Lyle Speck (VectorConvoy) @vectorconvoy.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Yeah no the prime wars trilogy is SIGNIFICANTLY worse like genuinely. Energon has plenty of good ideas that just needed better writers. Like Ironhide and Demolishor's rivalry, and Demolishor having an identity crisis after learning Megatron's alive. I like Rodimus a lot! And Wing Saber is cool.

He's a cool dad in this show, it's great. I've only ever seen Car Robots but he's still wonderful in the Japanese dub too.

It's like wearing a big hoodie, he thinks it's comfy

Lyle Speck (VectorConvoy) @vectorconvoy.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

My hot take is I don't think Energon is nearly as bad as people say it is. It's not good but it's also not unsalvageable or a blight on mankind. There's a lotta good stuff buried in there imo.

Check out these awesome prints, stickers, and more at my table at Godzilla Fest this weekend!! I'll have prints of over a dozen illustrations, as well as smaller card prints! And if you get all 3 sonic illustrations together, you'll get a $5 discount!

Beast machines is THE MOST underrated transformers toyline and I'll die on that hill. The toys are fuckin awesome, the vehicles and vehicon generals especially. If you ever get Thrust tho be careful with him, the hinge connecting his head to his neck is clear plastic and mine broke a while ago.

FINALLY I'M NOT THE ONLY BEAST MACHINES FAN!!!!

Sometimes you just have to release the beast Roswitha in kaiju form courtesy of the talented @vectorconvoy.bsky.social !

Roswitha in kaiju form, shedding away any notion of a human form appearing more true to her aquatic, bonnet head shark head, series of spines, a gaping torso mouth with jagged teeth and limbs to go on land while her powerful flippers and tail allow to cruise the depths of the ocean.

Lyle Speck (VectorConvoy) @vectorconvoy.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

If core class was still a thing it would've been a great way to remake the Energon combiners. Voyager class torsos with core class limbs would've been perfect imo.

I just want to see what they do with spacegodzilla, I really hope they cook with his design and not make him skinny like godzilla evolved. I also need to see him being a bastard again.
