Agents have been around in software engineering for yonks. It simply means a program running independently and providing service to other programs. AI has simply added new levels of agents, they are nothing new.

I believe he was initially charged with more offences, I would suggest the CPS have decided this was the only offence they could confidently get through, unfortunately. Elected trial to have his 5 minutes in Court to spew his hate, refused bail quite rightly.

Makes you wonder how much else is based on wrong assumptions rather than fact.

Everyone missing the point that this is for 3 months, to overcome the price hikes due to Trump's folly.

One of the sickest aspects.of this is that the Pompey RNLI has only 2 inshore ribs, and so is not involved in the small boats issue. Targeting individual volunteers is probably the lowest form of thuggery possible..The goons involved have no idea or understanding of the RNLI or its operation.

Significant difference though is that these people are not volunteers, acting for one of the most incredible charities in the UK (and Ireland). These scum cannot be allowed to abuse these heros and heroines.

Sadly the unintended (I think) outcome of the backlash is to bring attention to the betting product and the advert by a nobody. Hell, they even showed significant excerpts of it (censored) on the BBC News.

The timing of these two 'donations' has to be questioned. Just as new legislation is being debated in the Lords. There was no real reason for these donations to have been made right now.

JB @vectisjon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026
I suggest they spend a sizable portion of it by making major contributions to the RNLI along with an apology.

RNLI Volunteers are covered by the legislation protecting emergency workers, even though they are not workers. Abuse should be investigated by the police and the vile perpetrators brought to justice. Better still the hatred should stop, a statement by the initial instigator would be a welcome step.

Why isn't this happening Dale? What is stopping it? Wholesale price should be based on what we actually need to use, and averaged across the sources. Can't see why this isn't being done.

More Tory sleaze swept under the carpet for 2 years.

JB @vectisjon.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
People.need to be reminded that RNLI Volunteers are quite rightly covered by the Emergency Workers (Obstruction) Act 2006, and if things escalate the Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Act 2018. Police need to come down hard on these far right mindless thugs hiding behind their masks.

It's going some to be more dodgy than the Tories (Johnson and successors), but Reform do seem to be making them look like amateurs.

JB @vectisjon.bsky.social · 07/09/2026
To be honest I don't want BBC News foisted on me any more than anyone else. Their fawning over Reform is nauseating.

JB @vectisjon.bsky.social · 04/09/2026
It's certainly not the first day that Chris Mason hoped for, you can sense his bitter disappointment. But it's good to see the BBC making the best of it promoting Reform like a party political broadcast.

Why don't you read the article, it covers rentals and landlords. Amazing how many people comment based on the headline and make fools of themselves.

He is not merely stating a personal opinion. He was speaking at a Reform Press Conference, and speaking as an MP, Reform Party official.

But 30p Lee said the police were lying and so was the BBC. So it must be true.

Brexiteers always were in the minority. Just that they were the biggest minority when the poll was held.

Considering BBC Political Editor (LCM) is the official spokesperson for RefUK, it is quite funny how the dopes are putting the knife in. Whatever happened to 'don't bite the hand that feed you'. Think the BBC would have a good shout at legal action against 30p Lee.

No one said they intended to kill him. If they had intent they would have been charged and convicted of murder. Manslaughter means they were judged to have killed him.

Surely the answer is to exempt killers of emergency service workers from the early release scheme.

With regard to people not knowing the facts on immigration, I'll say it again, the Government desperately needs a skilled and respected communicator to put out cold, hard facts about not just immigration but other things as well. Not this minister or that minister but a spokesperson, a spin doctor.

He was involved in politics anyway, you cannot be Honorary President of Reform without being involved in politics, Honorary or not still involved.

Good to see she thinks the UK is a joke nation. For 14 years she was part of the Government, she didn't think it was a joke then, even though it was largely Johnson's administration that turned it into what some might seems a joke. Not much patriotism with Cruella.

He was Honorary President of Reform, a limited company and more importantly a political party. His claims not to have been a politician during this period are clearly codswallop. If he wanted to get out of politics altogether he should have resigned his post. We all know he was a (bad) politician.

Making it up as you go along. Your suggestion was that gifting homes to politicians is the norm, it isn't. There may be a few exceptions, but gifting a home does not include rent free use, it means gifting, i.e. transferring ownership.

JB @vectisjon.bsky.social · 10/07/2026
Well there is an obvious answer to that, but who has gifted them homes (to own)? Politicians do not normally get gifted homes as you implied, maybe there are exceptions, but then these two specifically are the worst of the sleazeballs so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

Perhaps we should all wait until the by-election is called. That won't happen until Farage leaves Westminster, he can't just resign, he has to be given the Chiltern Hundreds or some other office of profit under the crown. And who decides this? The government.

JB @vectisjon.bsky.social · 07/07/2026
Seems to me he has jumped before he was pushed, thus giving extra weight to the view that he was going to be found 'guilty'. Turning on the media that has been supporting him over the last 2 years doesn't seem the clever thing to do either. Don't mess with Sky. Still his BBC mates gave him free PPB.
