The 48 hours between signing an offer sheet with Oklahoma City and Denver matching the offer really messed with Spencer Jones's boys trip to Colombia. He hoped free agency wouldn't go so long.

Full time: St. Louis City 3, Colorado Rapids 0. Not the Rapids' best stuff. St. Louis and Columbus will play in the U.S. Open Cup final.

St. Louis gets a third in the 59th minute almost immediately after a restart. Tomas Totland flicked it on to Alexandru-Irinel Matan. Big hill for the Pids to climb in the final 30 minutes.

Some random Nuggets schedule ... nuggets. Both games vs. Knicks are the first night of a B2B for Denver and come a little more than a week apart (1/2 vs. Knicks, 1/3 vs. DET and 1/11 at NYK, 1/12 at MIL). Final games of reg season are against the Spurs and Thunder once again.

Vinny Benedetto @vbenedetto.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

With Alpha Diallo and Trevon Brazile on the books, I have the Nuggets at 12 players on standard contracts for next season. That doesn’t include RFAs Peyton Watson or Spencer Jones and second-round pick Bryce Hopkins. I expect Denver will start the season with an open spot again.

The Nuggets signed former EuroLeague Defender of the Year Alpha Diallo to a one-year contract, per Shams Charania. Diallo, who spent a year at West High School, makes his way back to Denver.

Nuggets drop Summer League opener 97-86. Bryce Hopkins was pretty great with 24 points on 9-13 FG, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Trevon Brazile grabs 11 rebounds, 5 on the offensive glass, but goes 2-8 from the field. KJ Simpson drops 17 and 9 on 4-13 FG. Denver 4-22 on 3s.
