Trump called those who investigated Ross Ulbricht, founder of Silk Road, "scum". Ulbricht was sentenced to life - fitting for the deaths his online drug trading caused. But Ulbricht had two things in his favor - he was not from Venezuela and he had a stockpile of crypto currency. Pay for play.

Trump is so opposed to drug trafficking that he pardoned Ross Ulbricht, who was sentenced to life for drug trafficking as the founder of Silk Road, the world's largest online drug marketplace. Investigators identified at least 6 individuals who died as a result of of drugs purchased on the site.
