I got pooped on by the horse I rode today. I've had a lot of close calls while picking out feet, but that's the first time I haven't seen what was happening in time to dodge it. Got hit right in the shoulder. Bound to happen some time, I guess. Lucky thing I had a spare hoodie in my truck.

Today, I got a notification from my hospital about some BioBank research thing I forgot I'd consented to when my kid was born. I finally got results! And they're, "So basically, Celexa and these other 15 antidepressants don't work for you." Yes. I know. Do not ask me how I know. But still, cool!

One of Thomas Jefferson's letters was about the different sects of Christians being at each other's throats, and how advantageous it could be for people of reason to simply let the Christians reduce their own influence by fighting amongst themselves.
