When Fangryer "lost" Yuehan, she was a mess. Quick to anger, quick to tears, then into silent episodes through the rest of ARR. The Garleans came to know her as the Wyrm of Woe from how often she attacked those who remained in the Castrums. She would often come home smelling of cerulem and smoke.

🎶Amidst the unmarked graves, Our hero takes a breath, As she smiles into the sunlight, Knowing she has earned a rest.🎶 🎶For lo, her past may have been torn, And her body once forsaken, She has finally found some peace and happiness, Amongst her new family and friends. 🎶 (I put lore in da ALT!)

Sitting amongst the flowers of Proto Alexandria, the sight where she bade her Endless labmates adieu, Vasuki takes a deep breath, closes her eyes, and greets the sunlight of the Ninth with a smile once more.
Calyx was dead, memories were restored, (including her own!), and Living Memory had regained its colors!
And as Krile said, perhaps it was merely a trick of the light, or a parting gift of the terminals, but she could've sworn she saw them around her one last time amongst those flowers, smiling up at her.
Her vengeance had been had. All who perished beneath Preservation could now rest easy, knowing that their tormentors were long, long gone now. And no one would ever, EVER harm another in such a way again.

Well....almost...all of them.

One did remain. One she had learned to call...an acquaintance?

Dr. William Tombs had been one such scientist. He had been the one in charge of her and her labmates. And if her newly remembered memories were reliable, his was the experiment that caused their deaths, and caused both him and Vasuki to be flung into the Source over ten years ago.

And yet-he wasn't the monster she remembered. Nay, ever since their abrupt placement into the Source, he had become quite the scholar in Sharlyan. He was still cold, logically driven and blunt, but...he never harmed anyone. Hells, he had taught some of her friends, helped them during the Final Days, they had laughed together! She had gotten that emotionless bastard to chuckle!

And yet, the truth still remained.

There were no signs he remembered his time in Preservation. No calling her by her number, no hints of sharing Calyx's views on "evolution" and what not.

And honestly...that was enough for her. Why make a beast remember its instincts? She had nothing to fear anymore. He was only a man after all. If she could stand against all she had faced before, then she could strike him down all the same should he show even a hint of his old ways.

I'd definitely say her theme circles around the importance of memory, both the pros and cons of remembrance. Remembering actions, feelings, people. I mostly chose it for her even before I played as her, so going through Shadowbringers and Dawntrail with has done wonders for her story. Autonomy too.
