Urgh it's so disorienting and upsetting. He crashes out about the existence of trans women in violent terms every so often and what, this is a forgiveable little quirk? Even weirder, I've seen at least one trans guy chatting friendly with him.

From calls from my elderly Asian mum which have included the exact words “they look at me like I’m not even human” about glares in the street from middle aged flag displaying types, I’d offer semi rural areas of the Midlands for a start.

The Personal Ordinariates catching strays from KB’s allergy to thinking through an analogy is deeply funny to me as a catholic

at this point I just have a kneejerk boredom response to the “of [noun] and [noun]” title formulation

Huh! Tbh I would absolutely take that over the number of funeral home and mortuary scandals over here in recent years

This book is going on my to read list for sure but oh my god the complete absence of legal regulation for funeral homes in the UK continues to be fucked up

UK, raspberry. I’m aware it’s supposed to be grape, but the idea of grape jam is not one I can really get my head around

Oh lol just saw this from the dev in other discussions about the game and its title:

Reddit screenshot from r/Games with a reply from user itsarabbit who has post dev info about the game on Reddit previously. Message says:
“Dev here. Name was picked as a temporary name during development. Now we've been in "too late to change it now, we're releasing soon!" for 2 years <.<“

Tried out Dice Gambit based on this and holy shit it absolutely slaps! So much character in the art, design and writing - my starting character generated as a Zen Masochist. Just excellent vibes. Almost skipped it bc the name completely lacked the charisma of uh every other part of the game

Unlisting might be nice. When catching up on something multi-part it gets confusing.

v normal. it nudged me to vary from my initial instinctive playstyle and use other mechanics more, so ended up having more fun in the long run. Annoying at the time though. Paying at least some attention to all four of +chips, +mult, xmult and economy (esp last two!) in runs helped me to push on
