Reposted by Varoslimegirl 🏳️⚧️ @rzrgrl.gay · 15/09/2025so many new fighting games use special move buttons when all I really wanted when I started playing fighting games was a way to drill motion inputs. make it a mini-game, make sure the player knows they've done it correctly, challenge how fast and accurate they can do it. show them how motions work! 1181

Varo @varoml.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Good writing to me is about the execution of a narrative that carries a meaning or theme using the devices of the media it belongs to. My favorite example is Undertale and how it uses being a videogame to get across its multiple themes and messages. NieR Replicant and Automata are also great at this 020

Varo @varoml.bsky.social · 19/12/2024I used to feel this way too, like I didn't want the trouble or that my opinion isn't perfect so I shouldn't say it. But seeing the "wacky stuff" people say while I stay silent, felt unfair. No matter how controversial your opinion is, I bet it will be more pleasant to read than most takes out there. 110

Varo @varoml.bsky.social · 01/12/2024One of the most depressing things that I have to cope with as a videogame enjoyer is that my dollars as a consumer means less that the same amount of dollars from an investor. If there was a gamer investment fund the videogame industry would change course so freaking fast it would be crazy. 010

Varo @varoml.bsky.social · 24/11/2024OMG My brain imploded rn. WoW's dungeon environment would improve 10 fold if they just let you PAUSE. If people could pause so they are able to communicate for both gameplay ,IRL and socializing reasons and not fuck the timer, it would be HUGE!. Get on it blizzard @warcraft.bsky.social #wow 000
Varo @varoml.bsky.social · 22/11/2024Take it easy and as someone that has had experience with depression it always goes away. The best thing to do is to keep yourself busy and to make stuff that will make you think less (the less you think the less you overthink!). Best of lucky buddy! 010
