Well, I might not have gotten a table but at least Murinae: After Midnight is at NYCC with me 😉

Pretty much prepped for NYCC, so just going to unwind and play a little bit of Lunar before passing out 😉

I 'quietly' updated all my Murinae: After Midnight files at @globalcomix to reflect the changes made for the print versions (which will be updated by early next month). Biggest change is the adding of 4 never before seen pages to Issue 6. These are panels from said pages.

When you hear this kind of music blasting from my room, you know I'm neck deep in working on the creative stuff.

Looking over the current print versions before making changes to the Murinae comics. Once I get the updated prints, I can finally hit the shops.

Looks like I'm attending the New York Comic Con after all, next Friday. Will be different this time, hobbled by my disability. I gotta take the whole thing in bite sizes.

Awesome, my A1C is 8.2. In late spring, it was 11, and last December it was 14. Getting there...

I know how you feel. My recent foot surgery cost close to $200k , got knocked down to $2K. My union insurance is covering things nicely but the bills are mounting :(

Sometimes you wonder if you've hit rock bottom by associating with people who don't even like you or see you as a friend but you hang around them anyway because you're lonely.

I think I need to get over myself, stop feeling sorry for my medical situation and start showing my face in vids. Start coming through with all these plans I have finally.

Found somebody supposedly selling a copy of the first 4 issues of my Murinae:After Midnight on Ebay for $26 each. A reminder my comic isn't some rare oddity that needs to be sold that much. They are $6 each plus shipping on IndyPlanet: www.indyplanet.com/vargvast-cre...

I feel like with being medically stuck almost 8 months at home, my less than two years from turning 50 and having this sense of dread and loneliness is my mind telling me changes are needed. This abandoned building needs to get tore down and rebuilt.

Thank you for the advice ;) I did look into it, as I'm not fully considered handicapped (yet...), but I am stuck needing a cane now (sometimes have balance issues leaning forward).

While my expirience wasn't 100% last year...I wish I was at Anime NYC right now. Even if I could have afforded to go, the stupid foot wound would have made it impossible to handle a convention of that size... 2026 = Fuck my life.

And now onto the next phase of my recovery... Looks like my healing is better but still too slow, so the next step is plastic surgery. Total skin graft. More surgery.

I'm noticing changes after having not one cigarette in over 10 weeks. My sense of smell has made a serious comeback. Only drawback is all the 'lovely' stenches I may have not noticed before going out and about is now seriously making me gag...
