On the right side of this landscape image is a picture of my oc, Khris. He is colored in grey scale, while the background is a splash of dark blues. He's holding a baseball bat as if he's about to strike, and there are strands of lightning coming off of him and the bat. his visible eye is glowing red.

On the left side of this image is am excerpt of the story that goes with the image.

Story Text:

The moment they start to approach, he strikes.

He lifts the bat, and sparks start to prickle along the length of the metal. No one notices, not at first. But as he walks towards them, and the sparks turn into great flickers of visible electricity, understanding starts to dawn on their faces.

But Khris is faster than they're able to handle.

thread where i'll post the flash fics! #1) Markus + "Doubt" an angst piece, haha. i doubled the word count but still felt like i could've used more room.... (for reference, the "belito" is the magic crime fighting organization that many of my OCs work for) #practitioners #oc #ocsky #writing

A short story written about my OC, Markus.

It's 200 words long.

Text:

Markus is accustomed to mistrust. Not from others, not particularly, but from theirself. Some days are easy— they work their first job, security at a somewhat popular nightclub, then they patrol the city for their real job as a member of the Belito.

That's the end of it. They go home, happy, to their comfy couch and their streaming services.

Other days, though, they lie awake in bed and think:

"Am I good enough?"

They try not to think. They work their jobs, they smile at their friends, they keep it light and cheerful and fun at all times, every day. Markus gives the people what they've come to expect, because if they keep it up, then maybe, just maybe... they won't see what lies beyond the mask.

They won't see the way Markus' hands shake.

They won't see the twitch of their jaw, or the crick in their smile. They won't stare into Markus' eyes and see all the cracks in their walls, all the uncertainty and darkness that bleeds into their gaze like a sickness.

"Will I ever be good enough?" They say to theirself, constantly, when no one is watching.

No one ever answers.

im still at work but guess who was playing around with khrismarkus ideas while on break..... i really need to get back in practice with writing 😂 this is just a blueprint of the actual fic. i wanna write this for real. soon..... 🥺 #practitioners #ocsky #writing

a khris/markus story scenario:

the two meet in one of the belito's training facilities (usually underground) to spar. it has been a while since they have done something like this, too busy with their own teams and lives. it starts as just a fun fight meant to blow off steam, but it turns into them wrestling-- no magic, no weapons, just body on body. they're both filled with adrenaline and tension, and by the end of it, khris has markus pinned to the ground.

the two of them stare at each other, panting, and they come to realize something in this moment -- that their friends with benefits relationship is a lie. they have the chemistry, the attraction, the tension. markus has been hiding those strong romantic feelings for a while, now, but khris finally realizes the depth of his own.

020

Knox ✨ @ hiatus! @vanridgeway.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

hello hello hello! im absolutely obsessed with these two rn... the khris/markus...... if you have any questions please feel free :3 im also planning a short story featuring them to maybe share with yall >:D #oc #ocsky #practitioners

khris and markus references.

khris (he/him) is on the left. he has brown skin, dark brown kinky hair, and one green eye while the other is under an eyepatch. he's wearing a black and green jacket outfit with matching joggers and shoes.

markus (they/them) is on the right. theyre a plus sized person with light brown skin, long brown hair in pigtails, and blue eyes. they're wearing a low cut croprop with a high waisted purple skirt and matching boots.

markus is just a few inches shorter than khris.

markus and khris again. this time they are chibis, and markus is on the left. markus is wearing a bra top with a long sleeved ultra crop over it, and a black skirt tied on the side. khris is wearing a black jacket with a black undershirt, and camo pants with a skull belt.

commission art of markus and khris drawn by stickyhunter @ vgen! they're wearing the same outfits from the chibi picture.
