The prompt for this Art Journal was 'pets'. All our cats were second-hand or stray. That’s why our reserved part of cat heaven is already so crowded. It's quite clear we are cat people. Although, to my left, you see a dog. She was refused too (replaced by a human baby). #cats #artjournal #drawing

Oil on canvas. 120x80 cm Fun fact; The painting below was made in 2009. In 2017, due to storm Ophelia, beautiful photos appeared in the news of an orchard in Ireland in which all the apples were draped over the field like a blanket. #traditionalart #artsky #magicrealism #inspiration

Did you know? When the end of the pattern of tissue paper exactly matches the pattern of the next sheet, you may make a wish! #makeawish #didyouknow #randomluck #unwrittenlawswrittenout

This painting can mean anything from reaching out to save another. Reaching out because you prefer to be on the other side of the lake. It also can mean reaching out to a point in the future where you want to be, but first have to overcome some obstacles #traditionalart #artsky #meaning #inspiration

Back in the day I used to draw my business cards myself. Nr. 2, 3 and 4 were inspired by the stain next to it, which I photographed on the street. On the back of the businesscard I wrote the coordinates of the stain. #traditionalart #drawing #inspiration #businesscard #artsky #tekenen

The prompt for this Art Journal was 'Create a page about an alternate or pet name you might have'. Well, I'm married in Taiwan (just for fun, but we did). For the official forms we both needed to pick a Chinese name. #artjournal #artsky #drawsky #wedding

No, this is not AI. I made this 20 years ago. Oil on canvas, 120x80cm #traditionalart #artsky #surrealism #artist #serenity

Painting of a slightly hilly landscape, fully covered with turquoise tiles. In the lower areas are shallow pools of water. On the higher areas are trees with crowns made of orange small spheres. The sky is warm yellow. The scene has a serene atmosphere.

Close up of some floating spheres that had fallen from the trees

Mock up of the painting hanging above a bed.

'Tilia Ora' Oil on canvas, 120x80cm Inspiration in the comments #traditionalart #oilpainting #maze #labyrinth

Sphere-shaped tree that looks like turning in the wind, standing in a labyrinth, against a gloomy sky.

If an artist presents an artwork to their audience with a polite bow, they show a peek into their soul. Perhaps even more so than in the visual arts, performance artists bravely exposes themselves. Without the filter of time and distance like visual artists can hide behind. #drawing #traditionalart

Drawing of a girl in jeans, seen from the back, sitting on ther own crossed feet, her hands reaching backwards untying a bow on her back

Her head is deeply bowed to the front and not visible. Like a bow to an audience.

Drawing framed, hanging above a small cabinet, as example.
