Two veteran journalists have passed away, Jorie Luelolf and Orion Samuelson. Jorie worked many years at WMAQ-TV Channel 5, and Orion worked WGN-TV and Radio for a long time. I will do a podcast episode soon! Right night, I was admitted to this afternoon. Here we go again.

Actress Lauren Chapin, who played Kathy “Kitten” Anderson on the classic TV series Father Knows Best has passed away. She was 80. I used to watch the reruns of the show on WGN-TV Channel 9 in Chicago in the 1970s. R.I.P.

Here’s a photo of Bob and Betty Sanders. They used to be on the radio at WBBM-AM 780 back in the 70s and early 80s. Betty passed away on February 20, 2026, and her husband died in October 2013. I’m planning to do a podcast episode about them this weekend.
