it's honestly a bit time consuming always being on the road, and not actually getting any work done. Having said that, my car is still broken and I'm on my way to get some sealant. Its leaking coolant from the new part because I need to doctor the gasket. Friends and adventures.

I found a knob on the side of the road. It was trying to commit suicide into the storm drain. It fits the stick without the stick. I do not know what to do with this information.
This is a Google Pixel 7a loaded into a selfie stick holder. However instead of a selfie stick, there is a full orb knob.

They say that Racoons are also "Wash Bears" because they like to wash everything. So I felt it fitting that this little guy carries all of my travel higene items.
What appears to be a stuffed animal Racoon also appears to have straps attached to the limbs. This is a brown Racoon backpack from Impressions Canada. It is laying on its back on a blue carpet that has diamond shaped stripe patterns in white.

This... Took... 4 hours... to get it useable again... My fingers hurt. Fucking rust. At least it didn't break.
This is a picture of a fastener that I am holding. It is a 125mm long M8 wing bolt with a hex head below the wing, threaded into a custom fastener that connects to a bolt at 90 degrees from the wing bolt. This is an alternator tensioner. I like to decorate my badge with the stickers and pins and stuff that I receive as my convention experience. There's lots of pins and stickers trades! But I made a hilarious error. My DickDickDeer went thru my hotel key. The key still worked!

Well... I guess I'm still not driving...
This is a photo of the top of a computer desk that I am using while I am stuck in Langley. On this desk is a pulley belt, which is shredded, curled, torn and busted.

A month ago I came to Langley to just change my Thermostat... Then I got stuck here for a month...
Repair Changelog

Drained coolant
- Coolant is wrong type
Began to remove upper thermostat housing
- Snapped Bolt
Removed entire thermostat housing
- Snapped VTEC sensor
- Snapped rear water passage pipe bolt
- Could not get bolts to budge on EGR valve, decided not to break them
Found Thermostat is Failsafe that is Locked Open, preventing engine from reaching operating temperature
Removed bolts for starter
- Starter stuck, needed soft hammer to finish removal
Replaced starter
Removed filthy puke tank
Removed Radiator fans
Drained MTF
Removed Radiator
- Snapped Bolt
- Found hole in radiator causing leakage
Installed new radiator
- Made new hole for snapped frame bolt
Filled new MTF tank with Redline MTL
Installed original fans back onto new radiator
Installed new puke tank and puke line
Installed new valve cover passage line to air filter
Installed new air filter
Installed new thermostat housing and EGR valve
Installed original thermal and water sensors into new thermostat housing
Installed new VTEC sensor
Filled with Distilled Water, run with cap off until boiling
Drained Distilled Water
Filled with Asian Blue Coolant, filled puke tank
Ran until boiling, allowed to cool, filled with more Asian Blue
Ran until fans kicked on, observed water level moving up and down with temperature in puke tank, then allowed to cool 2x
Test Drive, observed temperature went quickly to operating temperature and did not move.
Engine sounds like it's still figuring out the new parts, and burbles slightly. Idle hunts while AC is on.

I opted to put the water passage on first because there was a water hose open right below the sensor, and I wanted to spray fish oil on the sensor I needed to unbolt, so that it doesn't snap. It came off in one (remaining) piece.
This is a Honda Civic D17A2 VTEC sensor. The rust has a story to tell.

So, I didn't post about the results of this car part. Because, well... I don't remember breaking off my vtec sensor.
If you have eyes, you still need to read this to understand this picture.

This is a Honda Civic D17A2 engine with the water passage removed. I am holding the plastic end of the vtec sensor next to the metal end of the vtec sensor. These two pieces should be one piece, but the plastic has cooked and snapped off.

It looks like a bolt with a hole thru the middle, and a little plastic plunger that moves a microswitch. So simple!

A Fel-Pro Gasket for a Honda Civic 2004. It kinda looks like a cat loaf with a square head and round ears.

Furries at the grocery store. These suits are getting realistic.
A deer is walking around in the turn-out lane of a parking lot next to a stop sign. The parking lot is paved, and there are buildings, trees, fences and vehicles in the background. There is also an alleyway leading into the distance. The deer looks confused.

This one is 20+ years old. It's pretty hard to accidentally the power button but the power button is also scratchy. This ran my internet in the city for years because it wall mounts. Now it just protects my PC from campground shitty power.

I can see right through it, it's not a muffler. It's just a flange. My muffler is still attached. 2004 Honda Civic Si Sedan 1.7L VTEC You can see my muffler in the photo I attached.

About 13 hours ago, my car pooped out one of its parts on a parking lot ramp. The car doesn't sound any different, but now my exhaust is pooling under my back tire when I'm stopped in traffic. And yeah... #1 traffic was... 1st gear for an hour. That was fuel costly.
A cylindrical metal device is sitting on a wooden deck. It looks like a weak muffler for a car, but it is actually an amplification device for low RPM's. The intake is rusted and damaged beyond repair. This is a photo of the underside of a car. What is notable here, is the exhaust pipe stops just before the rear axel, and looks like it exploded open.

This is a picture of Vanilla Skunk. He is sitting feral like, but with his hind legs up, a silly expression on his face, and visible vanilla scent lines surrounding him. Vanilla Skunk is an inverse skunk, where the white markings are black and the black markings are white. He also has a black tummy, and a messy red mohawk. Smells like Vanilla.

I just changed my oil, and finally got the filter changed too. The last time I did this, I couldn't reach the filter. Now I have it off, and I swear this thing is... 22 years old. Factory issue. The car was so happy to have that changed, it was hard to keep it under the speed limit.
Pictured here, is a blue oil filter, Excel brand, part no V4610. It has a notice printed on it regarding installation which I am not going to type out here, and it has corrosion in various places.

As much as I like the UI for my air fryer, I wish I didn't have to stare at it for so long. I'm hungry.
This is the front of a Chefman Air Fryer. The UI reads 375 F Chicken. There is a spinning circle above a time/temp toggle switch and a red stop button to the left.

The image is not animating so you really need the alt text here to get the full context.
