Day 3, a bit more paintery! A quick redesign test, too… Jake felt a little too plain so I’m considering giving him some more marks + tiny horns. Jackalope kinda vibe. Thoughts? 👀 [ #art | #hellensjake | #artober | #artober2026 ]

Celebrating pride month with a crack comic of these two [ #art | #comic | #hellenscrev | #hellensrev | #hellensvalerie ]

a sketchy comic with my ocs, Valerie and Rev.
in the first panel, they're sitting on a sofa and scrolling on their phones.
in the second panel, Valerie turns to Rev and shows his phone, saying "Here's a business idea!"
The third panel is the phone view, where there's a screenshot of a twt post where someone mentions that he made $2,000 in one night by going to bars with his male friend and pretending they don't know each other and getting people to bet him to kiss a guy
The fourth panel is Rev looking down, reading it
and the fifth and final panel is Rev looking up, eyebrows cocked (behind him is a lower-oppacity visual of his actual reaction which is a confused surprise lmao) (not showing emotion is his thing)

A more sketchy page. Not canon event, but a fun vent nonetheless! [ #art | #comic | #hellenscrev #hellensriend #hellensagnes| #hellensrev #hellensvalerie ]

a sketchy comic page.
first panel has Riend looking furious and pointing to the right, with fire erupting from behind him.
second "panel" is split into three; we see Agnes looking disturbed, Rev looking angry (in his own way in which he barely shows any emotions), and Valerie looking murderous.
the third and last panel is a front shot at Riend, looking furious still, pointing forward, with the fire behind and around him

I have forgotten how time-consuming comic pages are... This was a great reminder hahah As per usual, a snapshot of OC brainrot :>>> [ #art | #comic | #oc | #hellensriend ]

a comic page starring mostly my oc, Riend.
The first panel is him looking off with a dejected look.
The second panel is a close-up of his tired eyes.
The third panel has a speech bubble: "Getting second thoughts?", in a fancy font. The voice makes him turn around, and we see that he'd been looking into a mirror.
The fourth panel has him turning to the source of the voice (a silhouette in the darkness in the back of the room), and don a shit-eating grin as he sayd "That'd be terribly ungrateful of me. Second thoughts, after all, are infinitely better than none at all... ...My Lady."
The fifth panel has the fancy font back again -- "Hmm...". We see a hand holding a decorative fan, mostly folded.
The sixth and last panel has the fan fully unfolded, someone behind it, and the bubble with the fancy font saying "As long as you don't go dreaming..."

A redraw of a Crev piece from FIVE years ago... 😭❤️❤️❤️ [ #art | #oc | #hellenscrev | #redraw ]

the older version; pen sketch on paper of Valerie, Rev and Agnes in a funky perspective with a star-shaped shadow behind them. Valerie and Agnes are leaning against Rev, who looks unamused

The new version. A redraw of the previous drawing, with more pushed perspective and (hopefully) better anatomy and swtuff. Also done digitally this time

Googling things like "Character questionnaire" is a good starting point! Here are some I found on Pinterest rq, it doesn't have to be specifically "how to give your character flaws", sometimes just "100 random questions" can get you thinking! o7
