Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 22/01/2026had the same thought. getting to know someone vs someone you might know pretty well are pretty different circumstances 010
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 22/01/2026i mean, its very likely something cant tolerate one of our concentrations of vitamins or proteins or oils. 120
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 01/10/2025i was trying to think of what it is referencing, like FF7? no the room is more reminiscent of parasite eve. Ohhhh its referencing whats IN the room lol 020
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 01/10/2025point it directly into the sea so it shoots you into the water like rollercoaster tycoon 010
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 12/08/2025well if prairie chicken and turkey are in there, then its time for everyone's favorite Willow Ptarmigan!media.tenor.coma white bird is standing in the snow with the word awebo written below itALT: a white bird is standing in the snow with the word awebo written below it 030
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 31/07/2025completely agree, there are so many filters used in it that are completely dissonant with the (often amazing) pixel art. Bloom is one, the aggressive depth of field, the flat lighting effects on sprites make everything look like pieces of paper in a cardboard diorama. FFT and Disgaea looked great 000
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 31/07/2025sometimes we can make our own "promise" too. I remember playing one game to the end thinking it has to get better, there are enough small enjoyable parts, but overall it wasn't very good. (and definitely unsatisfying) 000
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 30/07/2025dude these environments look fantastic, how much does exploration play a part in the gameplay 110
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 26/07/2025some even are used simultaneously! With Gopher tortoises and their burrows, snakes, rodents and frogs can all potentially be cohabitating. 020
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 26/07/2025purple martins almost entirely nest in man made boxes now in eastern us. bone collector caterpillars live in spider webs and steal their catches. (theres also other lepidoptera whos larva line in active ant nests) 150
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 25/07/2025so much more blame is being put on itch than even the actual groups that are causing it 010
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 01/07/2025dang i remember when they first came into the scene and being really impressed 010
Jay @vanguardjay.bsky.social · 30/06/2025one thing that I cant really put into words well that I feel ties into this is 13 didnt treat its world as another character. 10 places so much reverence for every place you go, which makes them feel like a larger world beyond the bounds, and care about what happens to them. 000
