Organizing my shelves today and found this bonkers book and have no idea where it came from. It kinda looks like it might have just appeared from another dimension.

I read the book last year, so it’s relatively fresh. I think they took some liberties with a few characters, but overall I think they really got to the heart of the original text. Really solid adaptation.

Really loved the new East Of Eden adaptation. Beautiful production design, acting, photography and writing. Can’t wait to see what they do with Lonesome Dove.

And last but not least, here's an image for the Marshmallows. Note: We have brilliant artists @kategabrielle.bsky.social & @vanessamckee.bsky.social confirmed to create the art for the book, so don't worry, you won't have to look at my placeholder images for very long, lol. 😅

It's way past time that mentioning the artist when promoting books, physical media, film posters etc. should be the norm. With slop everywhere, let ppl know you hired an artist! This is good marketing, you look good because of it. Which is why it feels suspicious when ppl don't do this

My new script was recently called “too transgressive”, so I’m holding my head a little higher of late.

Last week there was a leak at our local refinery and this was released into our air. I’m sure there will be accountability. I’m also sure that the several data centers they’re building in El Paso won’t fuck up our water or electricity. Things are fucking great!
