NSW farmer fined record $1m for wiping out critical koala habitat for private airstrip larger than Sydney airport Why fined and not imprisoned? Non violent climate or animal rights advocate/protester are! THIS is violence to the 30 threatened species and plants 😡 #Climateaction #vegan

Mysterious mass elephant die-off ‘probably caused by toxic water’
Satellite data analysis suggests climate-induced algal blooms could be behind hundreds of deaths in Botswana that sparked flurry of theories in 2020 More than 350 elephants that died in mysterious circumstances probably drank toxic water, according to a new paper that warns of an “alarming trend” in climate-induced poisoning. Day 21 of posting cool mushrooms every day: The Bleeding Tooth fungus (Hydnellum peckii) has both teeth on its underside and "blood" on its top! The "blood" is extracellular fluid, which is squeezed out when the fungus absorbs water, increasing pressure until the red fluid is squeezed out!
Source: reddit, user: denise1025

A very alien white mushroom strands surrounded by green underbrush and mossy trees. The mushroom is white and almost like a triangle on a stem. On its underside, there are "teeth"-like projections. On its top, it is flat white, except there are beads of red droplets like blood.

I always leave some carrots to go to seed in the garden…beautiful flowers, attracts aphids, which are farmed by ants, aphids attract birds and hover flies…a good hour watching these insect shenanigans. Free entertainment and carrots, happy days 🐞🥕🐜
