Internet's haunted, everyone post your old Fido node number...
A screen shot of a modern release of a 1990's Computer Bulletin Board System (BBS), it and the infrastructure behind it was sending e-mail around the world long before most had access to Internet & ISP's.

Ohhh... I get it now. You should have just said. All this talk of philosophy and token rings. You're an IBMer.

Ethernet is the most widely used wired networking technology for connecting devices within a Local Area Network (LAN). It provides a direct, highly stable, and secure connection for computers, consoles, and routers, consistently outperforming Wi-Fi in speed and reliability. Happy to help.
Picture clearly showing eth is an ethernet connection.

Oooo I know this one. Ethernet.

An online political spectrum quiz result showing someone is closely aligned to Zohran Mamdani (NYC mayor). Ironically the person who did the test thinks Mamdani is a wanker for walking back some of his election promises.

We're doing the MW2 boycott until the end of time. Capital G gamers can't do without their shiny and never have been able too.
The Steam group to boycott Modern Warfare 2 due to it lacking features showing the majority of its members were, in fact, playing Modern Warfare 2.

The last good version of Windows was 3.11 because that wasn't trying to be anything other than a 16bit GUI on top of an 8bit OS written by a bunch of 2bit criminals in suits.

It's mechanical Turk. It'll do whatever you tell it to, especially if some dingus fails to sanitise inputs. e.g.
A UK Liberal Democrat councillor is using an LLM bot. A Bsky user called Vaneshi made the councillor write a song about Jeremy Corbyn, the former leader of the UK Labour political party. The LibDem complied with the instructions thus proving the firepower of a fully armed and operational Corbyn (or something).

There is apparently a decade or so between that and this thing. I'm wondering who cross pollinated and what the original inspiration is.
