It’s odd to me that the same complaint about Bloodlines 2 is the same complaint I hear about v6 “It’s OK, it’s just not a good sequel to what came before it…” Odd that. #vtm #ttrpg #rpg

TMNT & Other Strangeness It has (still) the single best point buy character generation mechanic I’ve ever experienced. #tmnt #ttrpg #rpg

Why wouldn’t that go well? Considering where Vampires come from he probably has some wicked lore that most people wouldn’t have studied.

It’s a ‘food on the table’ or ‘play one page rpg from some unknown developer’ (no offence to the one pagers out there)

If I see one more ‘of Dimension 20 or Crit Role played a less popular game… blah blah blah’ takes I’m gonna legit scream. They can’t play less popular games all the time because their business model (in order to make money) needs to be playing the more popular games. #ttrpg #rpg

If you see a charity event being run, and you work for company that wants to supply items or gift cards for the charity event. I cannot stress the importance of sending emails to the people involved in running the event. To not do so is deeply unserious. That is all.

If anyone wants you to sign up for anything, an actual play, a voice acting job etc. Make sure they are completely upfront about pay.

Someone on r/vtm was trying to say that White Wolf wasn’t left wing from inception. Which is… hilarious. #vtm #ttrpg #rpg

Anywho, here’s a photo of the new kitten Sabine sitting on my foot because she’s scared of the idiot raccoons growling at each other in the backyard at 6:30 in the morning.

Whoever that sad sack filthy piece of distended rectum is that programmed the ticker for ads that goes really quick at the beginning and gradually slows down about half way through can rot in the fiery pits of hell…

They might be big enough to survive but in the end they’re a business. Why take a double digit hit percentage hit to revenue when you don’t have to?

D&D also does better ratings than the other TTRPGs

I have yet to encounter any situation in which running a twitch channel (or YouTube channel) via committee has worked out favourably for anyone involved. That is all.

With the 3 @startplaying.bsky.social games that I have running it just so happens that the 3 tables have Primogen now among them. In the overall plot the Prince came back and told the Primogen to divide the city up. Now as a ST I’m watching them interact on the Discord creating maps etc. #vtm

That’s a thing that’s happening yes, but no NPC or reason behind it. How did the still Sabbat Tzimisce react? Are there any notable Tzimisce that said ‘fuck it!’ That which you mentioned is a side note to an overall story. I want the story not a ‘shrug, you figure it out!’ description

001

Storyteller Steve @vancitybynight.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Yes… but why? There’s like zero reason given for it, not meat to the bone as to why that would happen. Hell they tried to make the Tzimisce in the Sabbat still the Antitribu which is ridiculous.

Storyteller Steve @vancitybynight.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Making the Tzimisce just ‘there’ in v5 and not really anywhere is lazy writing. Lasombra got a ‘we left the Sabbat and now we’re Cam’ writing in Chicago but the Tzimisce just got a ‘I guess anyone can play them as part of any Sect’ treatment. Lazy Writing. #vtm #ttrpg #rpg
