I know a lot of people want me to run as a write-in during the 2026 general election. After a lot of careful thought I have made the final decision to put my focus and efforts towards the 2028 election cycle. I will make a full year of being filed with the FEC on the 25th of August and I plan to amend my FEC form to reflect the 2028 run once l meet that one year mark in two weeks.

I am a mommy now! Both Artemis and Apollo suckle on my ear like a pacifier till they fall asleep. I will say Artemis started doing it first like a week ago and Apollo started following her the other day. Now they both just use my earlobe to fall asleep.

It does not hurt, they do not bite. They use their lips, not their teeth. I’ll add that I am not a fan of the micro needling they do to my face. I’ll have to keep their nails trimmed.

🚨FOR THE RECORD! The goals are still the same! While the path is uncertain, I still have tunnel vision on the end goal. I did NOT drop out and I am NOT withdrawing from running for Congress. Replacing Hakeem Jeffries in office is still a major priority. I am planning my next moves right now.

I've been seeing some mentions about how I dropped out of running for Congress.

THIS IS NOT TRUE. I did NOT drop out and I did NOT withdraw from running.

However, after getting just 186 signatures away I did not make it on the 2026 primary ballot. I am taking a second to catch my breath and plan what the next steps are without rushing into a decision.

I am very much still running to be the next representative of New York's eighth congressional district because the mission is what matters.

These “representatives” who voted against it claim they want more purchases to be allowed under SNAP. Passing this bill is a steppingstone. Grocery stores have rotisserie chickens at checkout. Allowing people to purchase these rotisserie chickens is the RIGHT decision.

"The House of Representatives passed an amendment to the 2026 Farm Bill (H.R. 7567) on April 30, 2026, with a 384-35 vote that allows Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to cover the purchase of hot rotisserie chickens. I didn’t actually sleep at all last night because I’m filled with anxiety about getting the required signatures 😩 I don’t fear much but this process actually has me a bit fearful. EVERYTHING we have worked towards is riding on making the ballot! I’m feeling pressed!
