Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 30/09/2026My fav songs are On Wires and Don’t Leave Me on the Dancefloor. The rest of it I find too ‘low-fi background music’ for my usual tuneful tastes although Amalfi Coast is interesting reminding me of the bridge in Cowboy Style by Kylie slowed down. Blue Skies has pretty instruments/production. 100
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I like that T shirt too haha😉🌽 A Southern mansion and that hair/glasses suit you! 001
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 19/08/2026That’s a great read-nice to have that cross generational perspective of a core formative album for me! 000
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Who is Cameron? Cameron Winter, as in the Gen Z ‘you’?😉😉 Rufus you’re being eclipsed in more ways than one haha…and you should record this song, seriously. x.com/musicaljupit...x.comJonathan Friday 🧡🩶 (@MusicalJupiter) on XAI Rufus Wainwright Sings A Song I Wrote Called "Spicy Little Cupcake" Rufus Wainwright - Cigarettes And Chocolate Milk vocal model created by me Lyrics by me Made in https://t.co/LFRe4aZRxA and http... 000
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 19/08/2026You should do this as a podcast too! They really went down in flames in such a messy, specifically Australian entertainment way. I visited 🇦🇺 about a decade ago and I was struck by all the UK and US reality TV imports there-like it was all that was on TV🙃 010
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Yes-💯!…and there’s very little room for error with a manual collage! I was inspired by the ‘Ultimate’ booklet artwork but even that was graphic design in collage style😉 I hope people are inspired to explore and enjoy these songs, about a disc’s worth of which are now officially digitally released🙌 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I used a lazy Sunday to finally make a proper collage cover for a #kylieminogue rarities 💿CD-R I put together in 2011 @discowallflower.bsky.social @matthewdenby.bsky.social Most of the pics are from a 2012 Hello Magazine article promoting her FASHION book & they mirror the eras of the songs✨ 131
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Have you seen that vid of him speaking Mandarin impressively well?👏 000
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 11/08/2026I’m intrigued…I remember their often spicy interviews with Robbie Williams back in the 2000s 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 12/07/2026I didn’t know you could pet a 🦭 seal just like that lol…shame on me as a Canadian! 100
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 13/03/2026Your dream job coming to you in a dream (and it will never run out ‘cause business is booming!)🐶 111
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 08/02/2026There might be a graduation onto a REAL piano soon, or like DRUMS! 🪘 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 07/02/2026Iconic haha-I rewatched it…such 2000s memories of that style of pop-rock! Now I recognize it’s Los Angeles😉 010
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 07/02/2026Love that song (and Grammy winning album💿!) From memory I remember the vid was shot in Vegas (or the Grand Canyon) and literally has her cuffed to a guy symbolizing the exhausting ‘ball and chain’ you don’t want your relationship to become…might have to re-watch! 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 12/01/2026Just gave it a spin & watched that cool, cinematic video-haha I miss younger, dark haired Robbie!😉 It’s a nice song, sort of in the ‘Intensive Care’ era style, from when he was still hurting and searching romantically pre-Ayda. Thanks for bringing it to my attention maybe a bit too ‘sad Rob’ for me😉 010
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 07/01/2026It really was a good time, and a nice way to follow Kylie’s Aphrodite tour at the time! We had cheap seats that ended up behind the stage that got upgraded to really nice floor seats!!🙌 000
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 06/01/2026Who’s Hurting Who, produced by Nile Rodgers is a bop…and his holiday fling ‘cheater’ Latin lover character carries through from Europiana onto Miss Italia where he keeps lovin’, cheating, feeling bad about it, getting his ❤️ broken & doing it again…😉 000
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 06/01/2026Do check that song out as it’s bilingual-the English-Italian big star collab duet is an Italian pop staple and Jack & Natalie did a great job capturing that!👍👍Since you also listen to Lara Fabian see if you cab FEEL the music vs understand the lyrics although his album is excellent for learning 🇮🇹! 000
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 03/01/2026I went to this show too-in Vancouver! It was good; she still had her great, athletic stamina and choreography then…and I really liked that classic Gaultier suit! 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 03/01/2026I BET that was a serious workout! I need another visit to really flesh out my thesis haha😉 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 03/01/2026Haha it’s not meant to be a link…BlueSky tried something😉😉…and I haven’t written a full think-piece on Australia and The Beach!🙃 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Lovely anecdote. I love how the beach is so intrinsic to Australian life… Especially the (northern) ‘winter’ holiday season (to place our perspective as the default haha)anecdote.love 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 01/01/2026I gotta have a golden Gay time when I come back!😉 What that looks like I dunno 🌈… 🍦 010
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 28/12/2025Yes-and I think in his early days he was more soulful and authentically country/rock while lately he slipped more and more into bland corporate pop. I like Keith and I think he’s a good dude. I hope he survives the post divorce court of public opinion and returns to more ‘real’, heartfelt music. 310
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 28/12/2025Henry Lee🖤 I think of it as Nick’s comeuppance for the story in ‘Where the Wild Roses Grow’ 🥀 Both such GREAT ‘murder story’ songs! 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 28/12/2025Omg his ENTIRE Italian 🇮🇹 album, a great love letter to the genre-but especially ‘Last Words (Ultime Parole)’ with Natalie Imbruglia! I also really love his collab with MIKA ‘Youth & Love’ and then I Remember Us, Secret Life, The Way You Said Goodbye🎻 & Calling me Back to You 🌊 ☀️ ⛵️ 210
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 28/12/2025I also love Bad Sharon and especially New Year’s Day-my little Robbie Christmas SUPER BRITISH trilogy!🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 However New Year’s Day also sounds like a Keith Urban song-he’d totally pull it off too, especially that ‘oh…it’s an energy, a memory I hold…I hope you remember me…’-could have been a feature!😉 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 28/12/2025I gotta REALLY listen to ‘Different’; I’ve been meaning to! I see it as that Robbie song with the orchestra in the video😉😉 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 24/12/2025‘Tremolo’, a musical term not unlike vibrato I think, meaning ‘shaky’😉-is it true that this song is also on his Take The Crown album? I don’t have that one in full…🙃 but I like this electropop tune with just a hint of the holiday season time period!❄️ 210
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 24/12/2025Eartha is the OG but Kylie is the new classic with her cute nod to Marylin Monroe💋 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 24/12/2025I really like this song-very ‘British’ but a good Robbie tune! 120
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 22/12/2025I like ‘fluffy sheep’!🐑🐑🐑 Looks like she’s been counting ‘em😉 100
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 14/12/2025Listen to it-you will want a full Kylie jazz album! Hot in December is great too in that 80s-style banger Kylie way while This Time of Year is a beautiful, emotive ballad. All in all a GREAT Christmas album update!🌟 I’ve also been listening to UK act Jack Savoretti a lot lately-we NEED him in 🇺🇸🇨🇦!😉 310
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 13/12/2025…and they also dated at the time😉, so they really sang with heart, passion and chemistry! 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 10/12/2025I really love her duet with Nick Cave ‘Henry Lee’-he gets to be the ‘victim’ in that one😉 110
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 07/12/2025Yes-I’m really enjoying Kylie’s new Christmas songs, especially the kinda jazzy ‘Office Party’…we haven’t heard that version of her voice in a long time!🎄 210
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 03/12/2025Bring this look back, it was refined/elegant/classy matching that VOICE! 000
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 03/12/2025@rosielebontennant.bsky.social I always really loved her in Robbie Williams’s Feel video-she was kind of an unexpected but really good co-star for the vibe of that music video! 120
Sarah @van-sarah.bsky.social · 02/12/2025YES!🎄We need your kid to grow up a little more for my eventual return Down Under😉 010
