Men expect and feel entitled to women liking them. They place so much of their worth on if they’re able to “get women.” Why? Because to other men that’s what earns you respect. Popularity even. It’s a popularity contest that is more important to men than women’s safety.

When you live your life constantly in flight or flight mode it’s impossible to develop a personality. Realizing that being autistic isn’t the only reason why I was in fight or flight is a big moment. My environment was never safe either. The adults around me were definitely not safe.

What radicalized me is realizing that not everyone believes in all people having basic human rights. What radicalized me is people thinking it’s a political stance to believe that all groups of people deserve love, respect, food, shelter, healthcare, and equal opportunities.
