We only got the edge of the storm. Lost power around 6pm central. Tree debris everywhere. Minimal water pressure. My biggest concerns are my daughter with MS/keeping her comfortable & the contents of my fridge.

The hurricane track keeps shifting east. If it continues, hopefully, it'll bypass us and head more southward... Maybe this is wishful thinking, but a storm with a Spanish (?) name that hits MaraLardo would be * chefs kiss *. This is one to watch & hope for that hard shift eastward.

The party stats on my county look different from the last election - it was almost equal dem v repub; but now, both those numbers are being fed into the NPA group, with repubs holding on with just under 20% over dems. NPA is at the highest I've ever seen, what it'll do though is anyone's guess.
