Currently thinking about these two as a potential white reanimator commander. Idea being you get them out for their reduced prince once and then if they die you keep them in the yard as reasonable 4 mana reanimator spell targets. Lower power deck obviously but I very rarely stray from bracket 2

Been into this card for commander. If your deck cares about 1 drops, lifegain, artifacts or has equipment this thing has very reasonable evasion/protection to supplement. The lifegain is really nice if you can get it out early.

I like this and i do realize this only boosts small things and only a little but this is the most versatile of these types of blue combat tricks. Makes stuff bigger, makes stuff smaller, or it makes stuff an artifact to be blown up with artifact removal.

I think hylda's crown goes in most decks, protects you from getting punched and then draws a bunch of cards. Starving revenant is heavily underrated imo even if you're not self milling-- if you're drawing a bunch and discarding to hand size the last ability can buy the life back and threaten damage

My favorite commander deck is helmed by ebondeath here. The curve goes mana rock on 2 ebondeath on 3 and start hitting people. It wins exclusively through commander or combat damage but I'd call it a midrange deck over a voltron deck-- barely any protection or pump effects. Just dragon.

Had to stretch the definition a bit to find any cards like that. I run this as a way to give my voltron commander 2 damage once and ideally deter attacks after that.

I did run a mono black devotion deck in that standard as well hehe. I was using underworld dreams as an instant kill with peer into the abyss but also as a way to get gary 3 devotion

Staying in standard and in dimir i also had a fun cat/oven, emry lurker of the loch, cauldron of eternity reanimator deck with this tezzeret as top end to utilize the foods and ovens. Proud of that one

Isn't this card quite good in a lot of edh decks? In particular it seems great in mono color decks where you can jam other, probably generic, legends. Think like- massacre girl as a boardwipe option in black

You can remain in selesnya and make tokens and then Prava lets you have 2 payoffs in the command zone at once. If you're making artifact soldiers with some janky brothers war card Rebbec can give them protection from flying tokens. Jeska + combat tricks because the commander is evasive by default?
