I know Grump hasn't been saying much about the abrupt ending of the trade negotiations with Canada last night so in case some of my American followers are curious as to why Canada is fuming over Grump and his ilk, let me catch you up to speed....
Grump didn’t just demand veto power over Canada’s trade partners, he practically tried to downgrade us from a sovereign nation to a franchise he could manage from his recliner.
He wanted to hand‑pick which countries we were allowed to trade with, then went a step further and suggested we toss out our bilingual identity like it was an optional accessory instead of a constitutional pillar. He even said that our immigration policies should “align” with his preferences.
He tried to turn the entire country into his personal doormat. He behaved as though Canada’s sovereignty was a negotiable coupon he could redeem whenever he felt cranky, pushing demands that ignored our Constitution, our institutions, and our identity.
Of course Canada takes a hit with these new 50% tariffs, but Americans get the bruise and the bill. Tariffs are a two‑way punch: Canada loses export revenue and faces supply‑chain headaches, while Americans get slapped with higher prices, pricier manufacturing inputs, and retaliation that hits their own industries. It’s mutual damage, but the U.S. ends up paying for the privilege of hurting itself.
Even when economists, manufacturers, and farmers warn him the policy is damaging, he ignores them. The crazy part is that the damage is very visible yet he keeps swinging the same hammer because it fits the political storyline he wants to sell.
Canada will adapt and come out on top when this is all over. Our country is resilient and united but I cannot say the same about the USA.

Years before Russia invaded Ukraine, they fed their own people lies about how their former friends could no longer be trusted and were now Nazis. Anything to justify aggression. Then, even as Russian troops were amassing on the Ukrainian border, Putin continued to say that he wasn't invading. Until he did.
Trump is using the same playbook, and telling obvious and brazen lies even when they're immediately disproven (remember when, even as the bulldozers were crushing the East Wing of the White House, he said they were only dismantling the facade).
The smoke issue is his latest attempt to turn our former friends against us. We can't stop him from telling lies, but we can stop fighting playing into his hands by fighting amongst ourselves.

The end game is that Trump wants to take out
country. His regime has been on a non-stop

I was wondering why the US gets all our (Canada's) leftover weather. Here is a look at the prevailing wind patterns around the globe.

The globe has 6 distinct wind patterns.
From the Arctic Circle to 60 degrees North the wind travels south.
From 60 degree North to 30 degrees North the wind travels in an East pattern called the Westerlies.
From 30 degrees North (also called the Horse Latitudes) to the Equator the wind travels south, the wind is called the Northeast trades.
The wind around the Equator is called the Doldrums.
The wind between the Equator and 30 degrees South (also called the Horse Latitudes) the wind travels north towards the Equator, the winds are called the Southeast Trades.

They Seek to:
Recruit Manipulate Mobilize Radicalize
youth online through grooming youth to take by promoting
flattery, and false action including extremist and
friendship self-harm and violent
violence ideologies
The Impact Can Be Devastating
These groups are threatening, harassing, extorting
coercing and encouraging youth to engage in explicit
acts, or sexually exploit others; harm or kill family pets or
other animals; perform self-harm; attempt or complete
suicide; produce fan signs, wall signs, graffiti, artwork,
written messages, photographs with names or similar
content at the direction of others; or conduct other acts
of serious violence.
What can parents do?
Talk. Have open non-judgmental conversation.
Pay Attention. Look for changes in behaviour, mood, activities, interests.
Know the platforms. Understand the apps, games, and sites your child is using.
Set Boundaries. Use privacy settings, parental controls, check devices and online activity often

On November 6, 1971, the body of a young adult man (between 25-30) was found at the Broadway Hotel Bar (now the Sunrise Hotel) on Hastings Street in Vancouver, British Columbia. He had recently had cranial surgery for a head injury, wore upper partial denture and went by the name “John”.

The Gordie Howe Bridge fight keeps running into the receipts.
The official Canada-Michigan agreement says tolls collected on the Canadian side are to reimburse Canada for the funds it advanced, and Open Canada records say the Government of Canada is funding the entire project.
Reuters has also reported the bridge was built with Canadian funding after the U.S. declined to finance it, with costs expected to be recovered through tolls.
So when American officials call that a myth, Canadians can fairly ask what part of “Canada paid first” needs translation.
