We drove, well OH drove and I navigated, for five hours this morning and are now in Galicia. From the little I have seen so far it looks beautiful, and quiet. Will go for a walk to explore when it cools down a bit more.

Fish Friday is based on cupboard diving, a nod to student day cough cough years ago. A slow cooker creation of lots of veggies, passata, harissa, tinned tuna and orzo. It tastes surprisingly good!

We seem to have settled into a routine. She disappears for hours on end, then returns. Lies purring upside down while I pull out from her coat all the leaves, seeds and burrs. Then off out she goes again. Rinse and repeat. #MaineCoon

Had to keep grey cat in for 6 weeks after house move. [Long story re her teeth and vets] But she’s been let out since last Thursday and her new hobby seems to be shrews🙄 My new hobby seems to be pulling leaves, twigs, grass, seeds and burrs out of her coat twice a day.

We often camp in a fenced off part of a local, small field. Arrived here today to find 12 heifers in their part of the field next to the farm house. Told they’re all due to calve for the first time imminently. It could be a noisy night!
