An intense project meeting in Copenhagen with our VALPOP colleagues has just ended. Exciting times ahead as we put the data we’ve collected (+156 million documents) to work, exploring how societal networks, populism and the rule of law shape the creation, distribution and valuation of public goods.

New research by VALPOP colleagues Vera Kunczer & Thomas Lindner shows firms are 28% less likely to invest in countries with highly populist governments. Where pro-business populists reduce this negative effect, anti-immigration regimes strengthen it. The study👇 link.springer.com/article/10.1...
