"A Hound of War" (Artfight attack) "It seems to leave the darkness rather blacker than before." - Arthur Conan Doyle

A quadrupedal robot with a long, whip-like tail and a hooked beak stares the viewer down from atop a rock. She is bathed in dark red-purple light, her eyes glowing lilac with murderous intent.

"all marged out" (Artfight attack)

A girl with red bows in her long, messy brown hair rests her face tiredly in a hand, eyes closed.

"A New Haunt" (Artfight attack)

Two women in a darkly lit area. One, on the left, has a flashlight in her hand. The other, on the right, has a camcorder in zirs. There's a faint impression of a ghost behind them.

Hey, same character even. Good point of comparison.

Old sketch of a frowning character. They have round glasses and are wearing an NEDM shirt in reference to the old YTMND meme.

Artwork of the same character, dressed like a witch, staring wistfully into a Taco Bell window; their past self's reflection stares back.

You're the whole universe to me.

Comic depicting an AU/RP scene where an OC fusion, Hu-En, is talking to her girlfriend, Kefla. Kefla looks beat up and tired.

Hu-En: Please, Kefla -- never doubt how much you matter to me.
Kefla: *smiles sadly*
Kefla: *looks down* I guess... that I just don't know what you see in me.
Hu-En: ... *smiling fondly*
Hu-En: *Sees Kefla as bright, bursting nebulae and stars, brilliant emerald green and endlessly captivating.* How could I ever explain...?

Ref sheet of another gayass OC

Sheet showing the appearance and biographical details of a Dragon Ball OC called Jasmine. She's a tall and willowy demon woman approaching middle age and looks bored shitless with her job.

I'm working on my piece for #makeaterriblecomicday right now. While I do that, here's the 2024 one, which I never uploaded to bsky...

Four-panel comic. Author persona in the first panel says: "So, today is June 24th, and everyone is drawing shitty comics..."

Second panel, her arms folded: "To tell you the truth, I haven't consistently drawn comics since I was in high school a decade ago. I love comics, but I'm worried that my sense of humor is a bit outdated--"

Third panel, the Zeeky Bomb appears and exclaims: "ZEEKY BOOGY DOOG"
Author persona: "Oh, crap--"

Fourth panel, a JPEG artifacted nuclear explosion.

Congrats on 1.5k Conor!!! And to join in: Hey, I'm Val! Just an amateur artist who draws Original Characters and (rarely) fanart of things I like, for fun.

Enkhtuya, a Xaela Au Ra from FFXIV, stares moodily into an off-screen sunset.

Zara, a human mage-in-training, and Nephele, a dryad. They hold hands as they appear to float freely in a blue sky, the breeze blowing their hair.

A Say's phoebe sings on the branch of a Douglas fir. Though the coastal backdrop is blurry, it is just possible to see where a storm has swept a town away, trees and buildings alike.

ALLECTO, an android, standing with a demure posture and sly smile. She's dressed in punkish fashion, black and pink.

Movie you’ve watched more than six times using gifs. (“Hard mode” no Star Wars, Star Trek, or LOTR)

One had to be versed in country things not to believe the phoebes wept. #myart

A Say's phoebe sings from the branch of a Douglas fir. In the background, a coastal area bears the scars of a storm, with toppled and stripped trees and destroyed buildings. The sky is clear and bright.

Phew. Keeping consistent was harder than I thought - but I’m proud of how I’ve grown as an artist this year!

In order to address my chronic inability to commit to starting and finishing video games, I made a spreadsheet to prioritize. Had the unfortunate side effect of making me very aware of just how many games are in my backlog...

Zoomed out and truncated screenshot of said spreadsheet. There are entirely too many video games listed.

I've been keeping myself busy with my November writing project. But I took a bit of a break to draw the two main characters of my story! Happy with how this turned out.
