Do you ever clear up your inventory in FFXIV by putting things up for sale for a ridiculous amount, with no expectation of it selling for close to 10 million gil, and then months later it somehow sells?

Plodding away playing Marathon. I’m enjoying it, tho I am struggling with how hostile the progression can feel. Spending minutes waiting for a match only to die and make no progress in a failed run. Making the most of the free kit event tho, hopefully can get 4 more exfills for the skins :)

Been playing around with PSVR2 over the past few weeks after picking one up during the holiday sales. Playing on both PS5 and PC, it really is an experience. Spent a few hours getting Skyrim modded with no issues (finger crossed) to get a proper VR RPG experience. The immersion is something else.

Working my way through the Metroid Prime Trilogy before getting too deep into 4. Finally finished 2. Was good, not as good as 1, would not recommend going on holiday to Dark Aether, emperor ing was a little tricky at first. Ending against Dark Samus was good.

Decided to get the PSP back out recently, had a surprise when the battery cover popped off when taking it out of the case, battery had swollen and cracked. First time encountering that. New battery and a 128gb micro sd card later, feels good to play on a PSP again.

The FFXIV team did it, they broke the glass and hit the button and are removed job/role restriction on glamour. I’m already struggling for storage space on glamour items as it is. Theres plenty of nice gatherer/crafter pieces I need now, like that one blacksmith bandage top :D

The team is relaxing a long-held policy of certain types of gear glamour only being equip-able by certain roles. "Use any gear in your glamour, irrespective of class, job or level restriction." However, weapons/tools are exempt due to animations.

Bought a few packs of the new Pokemon mega evolution set, first pack had the Yveltal and Houndstone, finished the last pack with the Mega Latias EX. Pretty happy with those pulls :)

I really need to catch up with the MSQ and raids for FFXIV. Still need to finish the 2nd tier of 8-man, the post raid story for 24-man raid and all the post MSQ. Oh don’t forget the lvl 100 dungeons too, only did one straight after the MSQ ended.

That State of Play was nothing but hit after hit. Can’t wait for FF Tactics. The inly negative I have is that the new Thief game is VR, which looks really good but won’t be able to play it. And that Marvel tho?!

The new PS3 super slim seems to be going well. Still downloading stuff to fill the 1TB HDD. Needed a little wipe down and dusting, the controller though…..never have I seen a controller that dirty. Needed a complete teardown to get all the grime and even dead bugs out 🤢

Looks like my fat PS3 may have finally bit the dust for playing physical games. It won’t take in any discs, I’ve opened it up and made sure the connections are seated fine. If it doesn’t work the drive or something inside it may have gone. May just be easier to buy a used slim from a local CEX.

Dunno if I’ll be getting Switch 2 on release, probably gonna be a mad rush like with any new console launch. Still apprehensive about a few things though, like if backwards compatibility will improve fps by default and let games hit there targets, pro controller, game prices, digital key card

Finished up the HG Gundam Aerial. Super fun kit to build, looks great and nice articulation. Had two loose joints that needed a bit of tightening. I’ve got the full mechanics version to build later, will be nice to see the differences.

Completed the low rank story in MH Wilds last night, it ended on a way stronger point than the early to mid section. Of course the story aint over yet, started high rank and took down the big pink chicken. Feels like the game has finally started and I can go hunt.

10hrs into Monster Hunter Wilds and apart from the poor performance (playing on a 1080p 60hz display so its either graphics 30 cap or balanced uncapped mode) I’m enjoying it so far. But, the story segments are way too restricted, I just wanna go and pick a quest and hunt a monster into oblivion.

Well, time for a new suspension coil on the car :) Had an issue with a knocking on the car suspension, roads around here and dreadful for potholes and deterioration. Heard something fall off the car and clatter, half a metal ring, had a look and confirmed its the bottom of the passenger side coil.

Been pretty slow doing anything the past week or so due to coming down with a heavy case of flu, haven’t been this ill since I had covid. Recently finished building a new gunpla though with this Zaku. Also did some light colouring on the pipes with a metallic sharpie.

A gunpla model kit posed facing the forward, with a curved spike on one shoulder and a posable shield on the other.
