That’s okay, I saw the aggressively nodding emoji on my phone 😂

That’s so true! Learning new techniques and studying diff art styles was one of the things that got me into art in the first place, so I like to change what I’m doing from time to time to keep things fresh. I guess most big artists have that feeling of needing to stick to a certain brand or style 🤔

Why thank you! I can’t disguise my love of bright colours no matter what style I’m working in. I’d be super curious to see your dark art! I get it not vibing with your current branding though. That’s the other thing I like about having a side account, I feel like I can experiment more.

That’s exactly it, I get so stressed about maintaining a professional image (whatever that means) on my main and struggle to be myself! It’s a lot easier to be relaxed when I don’t have to feel like I’m being perceived lol 😂

everyone wants a evil fictional woman until she's Too Evil. or too scantily dressed. or commits fictional crimes on account of being evil. or is a little mean sometimes. or doesn't fit into any of the other boxes people force women into. can anyone hear me i feel like i'm going fucking insane

Word of mouth is one of the best ways of promoting small business for a reason, those little comic banners and blinkies and links to friends websites were great little rabbit holes to spend an afternoon going down! Social media really is designed to keep us passive in our web browsing experience 😔

It would be nice to see more indie comic promotion on socials again, I remember finding pages posted on deviantart back in the day with links to small creator hosted websites, and I still follow a bunch of those that are still going two decades later. I love that small, customised format way more.

I’m sneaky like that lol 😂 but fair enough, with how different my work and play styles are! That’s why I have this side account hehe, I feel more free to post art that’s a wild departure from what I do professionally. The other account is more of a portfolio, and here I can have fun!

mucho texto i know but i wanted to write a lil thing about how u can treat yourself nice!!

art of a wolf girl eating broccoli and brushing her teeth. the dialogue says:
I've been an adult living on my own for a coupleyears now and since I have ADHD and bouts of Sick Brain Disease I can fall into a rut easilyESPECIALLY when it comesto taking care of myselfbut the awesome thing about being an adult is that no one is watching over your shoulder making
sure you're perfect i used to give myself shit that i wouldn't be able to eat healthier or take care of myself in an optimal way here's a cool trick tho: ANYTHINGis is better than nothing. if you can only eat a couple vegetables? buddy thats better than no vegetables. worried about brushing your teeth for like three minutes? do like ten seconds instead want to socialize more often but you're worried you can't do multi-hour events? babe you're an adult now, if you get tired you can just leave lol If you want to improve, fuck yeah, work your way up to more of whatever. starting at all is the hard part - if you can do that then you've got a lot of what you need already anyway ive crunched the numbers and treating yourself a little bit better than yesterday is actually a million times better than trying to Fix Your Life Completely and getting mad when you can't do a 180. be nice and recognize that you can live a lot of your life in first or second drafts; if you're not perfect yet? fuck it, you'll get better later! u can do it!!! woof!!
