6 years ago I was teaching an Online Video course in Dubai and I don't necessarily think I agree with my own advice anymore, particularly on this slide.

My favorite musician, Stromae, released his entire concert for free on YouTube. I was lucky enough to go to the LA show - fresh out of surgery & covered in bandages/tubes. I couldn’t even stand. But I couldn’t miss it because it was just that good. Goosebumps during L’enfer youtu.be/l5WgAr4B8Vo?...

Ok this one is out of left field, but it is also the only thing I did purchase for Black Friday. The Tippy Type is a silicone keyboard cover to make typing with long nails easier. It's now on sale for 25% off. If only they had this for camera buttons too... www.tippytype.co/products/tip...

The only gimbal I've seen on a decent sale is the Zhiyun Crane 2S, at almost 50% off. The B&H sale is better than on their site. This is going to be for lighter-weight mirrorless or DSLRs. They say that they can support the BMPCC 6k but I wouldn't say so. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/15...

Tilta Nucleus M is on sale, both the full kit and partial kits. It's not a huge sale, but this is one of those items that is indispensable, so you might as well get it on sale. Sold out on the site but not on B&H. tilta.com/shop/nucleus... www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/15...

Sachtler has a sale for the next 12 hours on their Flowtech 75 tripod - but this one only with the mid-level spreader. The floor spreader version isn't on sale. I kinda wish they had it without the head, so it would be even cheaper. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/18...
