I think "Revelations" ick... is probably going to relase with the original (current version) of FF7, just based on the original logo for ick. I don't know if Remake or Rebirth did at all. But pretty sure this one will.

So. It's not "Relive", which I still think would have been better. But, it's not Return, so, I'm happy enough about the title. Even if it is a little long and generic, and Resident Evil did it twice... that aside. The game looks like it's going to be fantastic, and I can't wait for it to come out!

So, I don't think it ever really comes up in the story, but I have a couple characters who are canonically lesbian/bi. I don't think the game every touches on it beyond a line or 2 in passing, but eh, might as well mention it for Pride month. The only relationship really covered is Fighter & Erynn.

I guess the good news about SOP is that the FF7 leak that came out a few weeks ago claiming to reveal here as 'Return' didn't happen. So, there is still hope that the reveal won't be so generic when it does happen. @square-enix-games.com please, don't be bland with Return. It's overused and boring.

Didn't really do much today, but I did start a brand-new map. It's a short filler forest to make that geography problem solved. So, now you'll scale down a mountain and walk though a forest before getting to the destination, instead of just "oops I forgot a step." It works. A fun little map.

Alright, finally decided to make the Crystarium levels based more on interactions than fixed points in the story. The more you engage, soon the Fate Stages will unlock. Kind of like Party Level in Rebirth gain XP. I was thinking of something else than "Fate Stage Level" but, I'm tired, and didn't.

This is actually a really stupid way to do interiors, and has led to a lot of problems, specifically, each location having its own name in the menu and save screen, haha. Pain in the ass. Also, I used to have the screen zoomed in a bit but decided not to, so, had to edit a few maps so they'd hide.

Oh, this is something stupid though that I can share. We have mirrors, lol. Though, it only works for 2 tile tall mirrors, but still. That's neat. I forget what game I had on an LP of that used reflection mirrors. The shadows were from Tales of Arise though.

Hey, look, it's a me! Trying to get the screen to feel like the right time of day without just over saturating/ undersaturing the colors is kind of annoying. But I think this works for late evening. I set the light at the bottom, kinda like the sun is behind the castle, so the castle is shadowed.

It would be a really stupid move to end TWO FF trilogies on a "Return" title. It's so boring, bland and used/washed up. Use "Relive", it's so much more on point for this story.

I mean, I have to use windows magnifier to zoom into the screen THIS much JUST to be able to read the text I'm writing. This isn't fun. It's kind of nausiating to be honest. Imagine, every text box, every edit, every scene you zoom it super big and you still make mistakes and miss words/ letters.

This might be my favorite Superman show. I'm watching it again, and I still want a Supergirl spinoff. She's such a compelling character in this show, it's just fantastic. Also, just realizied that Ruthaford from Lower Decks is Superman. She is easily my favorite Supergirl.

Finally found a fix that... "works" for that stupid loading latency doubling. Not fixed, but, not a problem. Pragmata made me want to redo some early things in my game, so that's neat. Trying to put the lighting into more of the early maps too. Welcome to the HA-Whitestar.

Interior lighting with the new thing. This way, Echo doesn't have to manually do every map as an overlay/ underlay. Carly's Tavern in Shiori. God, I haven't slept in like 39 hours. Head is kinda mush.

Ok, I think the stutter is fixed. After 3 days of trying to track it down, it seems to have been some old Chromium flags in the package. Also, the leader can get a lantern now. Harkening back to the days of Endless Fantasy where you needed a lantern to go on your grand adventure!

I was thinking of the FF7R music stuff, and thought it could be fun to buy CD's throughout the game, and they'll randomly play from the Radios you walk pass during the game. The shop name might need work, but it's the best I could come up with at 530am. I thought it might be fun.
