Infusion day still the best day to check out new albums.

#37 - Castlevania II: Simon's Quest I have childhood memories of this game, but none of them were of actually beating it. Bits and pieces came back to me as I played it, but I never actually did everything. I think I just wandered more than anything. I used a guide, which I don't like to do. 🫠

I’m playing Simon’s Quest because I never beat it despite it being one of the NES games I owned as a kid. I’m doing it in my least favorite way which is using a guide. I could never figure this shit out on my own. Already further than I’ve ever gotten.

Now that I've finished Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, it's on to the next game!

#36 - Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Fantastic continuation of these remakes. I really, REALLY hope they don't skip 3rd chapter. I need to re-experience the whole thing! Plus 3rd is my favorite of the three. Please. I beg of thee.

The 2026 Magic Knight Rayearth anime has started off feeling like a love letter to 90s anime. A lot of respect and love was put into the first episode and I'm looking forward to sticking with it. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm impressed.

another surprise comedy anime. "The World's Strongest Witch" had me cracking up multiple times on the first episode. I'm generally pretty immune to comedy. This one got me..

Whyyyy is this series good? I typically hate these "cheat skill" anime or consider them mid. The comedy is on point. I usually treat these shows as junk food or hatewatches. Maybe not this one??

It's crazy how they hide the word "flavored" so well. That shit should be illegal. LOL.

#35 - FRANKEN splendidland.itch.io/franken I'm not really going to say much about it. It's just a quirky, short and amusing little game that takes 30 minutes to an hour to beat. It's very Dragon Quest coded with some Undertale type vibes on the humor.

Me when a character drops a megaton reveal as casually as discussing what food they had that day. Then they do it again, again, again...

I don't think the pictures they posted were the best representation of PS2 (being widescreen and higher res than the actual hardware puts out), but either way PS2 games look great.

This doesn’t cover all of what shaped my taste, but these are all part of why I like certain types of games. Trails of Cold Steel permanently made me want world building in my RPGs. Chrono Trigger was my first RPG. Mega Man 2 was my first video game. RE2 started my love for the series.

I left a message on the Kickstarter page. I hope the devs read those, but maybe they don't because there's some toxic comments in there.

You can check on Discord in User Settings > Account Standing to see your account age status thing now. I guess I'm safe. \o/

This is just "some anime I like" tbh. Some of the anime I picked originally didn't have proper images like Monster. Tsk tsk.

Felt kinda weird playing the game while knowing what Troy Baker looks like already. I'm not used to seeing his likeness in anything!

#34 - Wolverine I ended up really falling in love with this game. This is the best version of Logan for me out of all forms of media that I've experienced him in and I hope we get to see more of him in the future. It's enough to make me a little happier with Insomniac's Marvel future.

Updating my top 4 currently airing anime of the season. Goodbye Lara, Draw This, Then Die Jaadugar The World is Dancing All fantastic shows running this season. I feel that Draw This, Then Die definitely deserves more recognition this season for its strong character writing.

I don't like to start drama, but I feel like this person has severe issues. These lists that normal people are being put on is an example of the issue with lists in general. I hope none of you subscribe to any of these because holy fuck. The FFX one in particular is just... what are we doing here?

#33 - Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Great game! I loved the main character and her story. Great music too. It almost makes me want to try to finish the 2nd Plague Tale game just to see what happened there. If you like Uncharted, boy do I have the game for you!

Glad I didn't try to replay The Witcher 3 just yet. The remaster has me locked in. Gotta try to do that by the end of the year especially with DLSS 4.5 being out.

2PM, everyone! Be sure to check that Pixel Arcadia stream out. I'll certainly be there. I've always wanted my favorite game to be available to people in North America. I've always wanted more people to play this!!!

I'd like to add that Draw This, Then Die! is pretty good as well. I love series filled with passion and love for something. In this case it's about loving & creating manga.

Alundra 2 is pretty great so far. I've been enjoying the puzzles and dungeons! Not sure if Activision translated any other Japanese games from the PS1 era, but they knocked this one out of the park.

Still very much into it. I get into this flow state and the lofi style music is the best for that. They need the option to remove the non-chill tracks actually.
