Only a few SOV titles are actual masterpieces, and Charles Pinion’s Red Spirit Lake is one of them. RSL started as a response to Pinion’s film project, Killbillies, one of the great unrealized underground films, falling through. Here’s a copy of the Killbillies script that belonged to Gibby Haynes.

The final issue in the original run of Bill Landis’ Sleazoid Express. The infamous Ecco: The Story of a Fake Man on 42nd Street. All of the initial SE issues are in their own class, but this is the zine as a definitive statement. It’s also one of the great works of literature of the last 40 years.
