Midterm talk is about what we do next year and the year after. One of the immediate goals is getting impeachments through. Senate mpeachments require 2/3rds of those present. 55 Ds means if you can get 18 Rs to stay home, the vote passes. It is not about court reform yet.

The suburbs were explicitly created as anti-communist development that kept people isolated in cars and behind yards and fences. Too busy and isolated to organize. The main 3rd place was a shopping mall then they abandoned the pretense of the 3rd place with strip malls.
