I just published a new blogpost on testing WebAuthn! WebAuthn is a modern authentication system that allows great user experiences such as Touch ID or Face ID! In this post, I give an overview of WebAuthn and how to test apps that uses it! Link to the post in the comments!

When building an AI-enabled app, always ask, "Who is accountable for the decisions of that system?" If the answer is "I don't know" or "no one", I have some bad news for you

Accurate summary of my journey building an AI-based product. Right now, we’re shipping features at high speed—things that were considered impossible not so long ago, and that many would never believe are actually doable (can't wait to share them!). What’s next? (DM open if you want to see magic)
A hand-drawn, xkcd-style line chart titled “Excitement on AI Over Time.” The vertical axis is labeled “OMG Factor” and the horizontal axis is labeled “Time,” but neither axis has numeric values. The orange line starts low, rises to a peak marked “AI is awesome,” then descends to a trough annotated “Limitations everywhere,” before climbing again to the top line of the chart, labeled “UX Heaven.” At this peak, the line transitions into a dotted horizontal line extending to the right, ending with a question mark, suggesting future uncertainty.

Yeah, sex is great, but have you ever written a RFC that * handles most common customer requests * provides stellar UX * Is technically brilliant?

GenAI we want: remove the most tedious tasks from our daily job to focus on the most creative bits. GenAI we get, spam, spam, spam and a bit more spam. Feel free to reach out if you want a really useful AI-based copilot to test and help you fix web applications!
A comment on a PR marked as spam on Github with text "It looks like you're dealing with a complex pull request related to the cookie package and ensuring TypeErrors include standard Node error codes. This kind of meticulous work is essential for robust error handling and maintaining backward compatibility.

To summarize the key points:

Error Codes in TypeErrors: The pull request adds .code properties to TypeError throws in the serialize and parse functions. This allows for more granular error handling.

Testing: Adjustments to existing tests ensure that they check for both the correct error message and the new error codes.

Performance Considerations: There's an ongoing discussion about the performance implications of creating error objects when not strictly necessary, which might impact performance in deep stacks.

Conflicting Tests: Some continuous integration (CI) tests are failing or have been canceled, particularly on older https://node.js/ Node.jsversions. This needs further investigation to determine the exact cause and ensure that the changes do not break existing functionality."
