I just don't get why no one respects the fact that TOs are volunteers. Sure, I've disagreed with TO decisions in the past but we have to at least treat them the way we'd want to be treated for tournaments to continue running. No TOs, leads to no tournaments, leads to the community shrinking.

That's like, 3 weapons without a lethal bomb. Given Splatoon's terrible sub weapon balance to be honest I don't see this working unless you run Jr with it. And even with Jr that means you'll struggle vs AoE based comps (comps with SBlast and Bucket for example).

Problem: my interests r pretty narrow besides Splatoon (Mario Kart, Football, F1, The Rookie) and while I'm open to knew thinks not only do I have to justifying buying them but idk whether I'd like it Eg a friend irl rlly likes Dr Who. I watched his fav episode and it was OK but nothing too great.

Like for example Minecraft is the common chill game for #compsplatoon teams and honestly I don't see how it could be fun. Mario kart is a great option but I don't have MKW and there are almost too many switch mario parties that every1 ends up with 1 having SMP/Superstars/Jamboree only 4/5

IMOit's usually the shooter haters who just can't let go. Like unless you were in comp in S2 (which is not many ppl bc almost all of the community are teenagers or young adults hence they were just playing the game without knowing comp most of the time)...

Having similar feelings over here in lower level. It's not pleasant - I would offer advice but I don't really know what to say. I'd say just keep playing scrims and tourneys for the fun of it and ask your friends / teammates / coaches if they have any pointers. (I'm NOT a coach though).
