also like aside from the racism reasons for the US to be weird about it, we are one of the only countries with birthright citizenship and nowhere in the Schengen Area does that, so far as I can tell. I mean they still wouldn’t want you using their medical resources but it’s less of a thing

yes, and the thing is even quite pregnant I don’t LOOK very pregnant because of having a belly to begin with. so even traveling for another ~6-8 weeks, in a baggy sweatshirt, the level of ”it’s not a baby, it’s a chipotle burrito“ plausible deniability is quite good

if it helps at all, when I got mine, I absolutely hated it and was like “this has RUINED my FAVORITE THING, BEING IN BED” and was convinced I would never adjust. And within a month it was fine. the one thing that did help me was having them lower the maximum pressure (mine has variable pressure)
