Phil Johnston’s (BA’94) path from newsrooms to Hollywood has always been shaped by people. His years in journalism taught him to look past the headlines and toward the human stories underneath, and he now uses that skill to shape the characters he brings to life on screen.

Josh Burstein (BA’08) uses comedy to spark conversation and connection. Before stepping onto the comedy stage, Josh spent years working in the world of politics. Improv became his creative outlet, and now he blends those skills with his advocacy work to spread awareness and support campaigns.
