The only thing so far about the OOT remake that bugs me is Link’s hat. Materials texturing is always good. I can take or leave the extra decorative details and layering. But the tassels on the hat alters the silhouette. You don’t simply alter the silhouette.

I think I’ve outdone myself in 3D design and resin printing. I wasn’t sure I could both print and paint lettering that tiny. I could have made the dial rotate but it’d be too fiddly.

Well, I had a productive afternoon finally painting my Legend of Zelda scale model book of Mudora.

Resin 3D printed book (about 1 inch tall), painted dark green with raised lettering & Triforce symbol painted gold. The lettering on the bottom uses a font from Twilight Princess and reads from left to right “book of Mudora.” The lettering on top uses syllabic characters from Ocarina of Time and reads from right to left “mudora no hon.”

Why is Weepstone's artist from @talesworth.bsky.social seemingly tracing assets from @heroforgeminis.bsky.social ? I just whipped this up in 5 minutes with as many common elements as I recognized. Way more than a simple pose reference. Surely this isn't appropriate for the retail release?

Some elements are similar as if the Weepstone art made a basic character using HF assets, traced and simplified them.

One of my players took up HEMA after our first D&D campaign. I had been using Dexterity for most light/off-hand weapons point. His takeaway from sword fighting: “every blade is Dex-based except greatswords.” I didn’t adjust my list too much in response but it was good validation for my homebrew.
