On the 7th of October 1988, the 1st episode of Gunbuster was released. The 6 Episode OVA was directed by Hideaki Anno & produced by Studio Gainax and would receive a sequel (Diebuster) in 2004. It debuted in SRW F Final (Sega Saturn) in 1998. Happy 38th Anniversary 🎉

What happens is these creators manufacture categories of people to whom it's okay to do basically anything, and then their audience will reward any action the creator takes against those people, regardless of how ridiculous it is.

I think part of the reason I prefer interacting in VR vs a voice chat, etc., is that it allows me to be present for someone and engaged in a conversation without necessarily having to speak.
