Ivy finally digs out a small crystal heart, no bigger than a tangerine. “Been a pain in my side for a while. The residents wouldn’t allow me in, and that’s allowed the beast to claim so many souls to warp into monsters. This hunt’d go by a lot smoother if it weren’t for you, by the way.”

“I don’t like getting my own hands dirty.” Ivy got up, walking around the giant crystal body, looking for something. “I’m sure you understand, why waste time & energy when your familiar can do the job?” She starts striking cracked spots on the huge crystal carcass with her polearm.

Ivy flies towards Metallia, glaring at her briefly. She turns away & dives back down, frost gathering on her weapon. She strikes the crystal creature, knocking it down & unleashing a freezing mist that covers the entire underground area. The mist fades as she kneels down & takes a breather.

The creature started summoning monsters from the ground. Ivy cleaved through them, but more kept rising. She floated high, leaving her robots to be overrun by the small horde. The ends of her clothing formed into wings that carried her upwards, out of the underground arena, into the sky.

While Ivy was confronting the thing underneath, the impact of the ice crystal disturbs that creature below. Several lasers pierce through the terrain, trying to attack the surface and above from deep underground. As the Lasers missed every target, the overall damage to the terrain would tear holes+

The freezing mist stops pursuing the witch. Ivy has no interest in dealing with the witch right now- only with whatever was making the noise. It’s what she came here for, anyways.

A roar echoes from deep within the tunnel, disturbed by the surface’s chaos. Crystals around the entrance begin to glow as cracks in the ground started releasing bursts of energy, independent of Metallia’s chaos.

Ivy looked up. She stared for several seconds, her hand reaching for a blaster on the back of one of the robots. However, instead of firing, she grabs both robots through the tunnel she was already approaching, lifting them up and taking them inside with her.

Ivy’s relaxed stance vanishes as the robots topple. She stumbles for a moment, using her glaive’s handle to regain her footing. As she struggles with her footing, the frozen floor slowly grows, cold mist ‘hopping’ across the tears in the ground, expanding towards Metallia. “Not now, dammit…”

“Finally.” She didn’t seem that all upset that the rest of her robot soldiers were burned down, their metal skeletons melting. She seemed to more be relaxed now that the town’s evacuating faster with the proper motivation. She leans on one of the two robots, whispering commands into the other.

The only robots to survive the attack were the ones by their leader, who strikes the ground, causing large areas of terrain to freeze and take the heat of the spell. The catfolk takes off her helmet, scanning her surroundings. The remaining townsfolk begin evacuating faster in response to the chaos.

Mechanical soldiers have been forcing an evacuation far before the witch’s arrival. Seems something’s already going on here. The one in charge stood at the other end of the town, masked by a helmet, carrying a polearm, and donning a dark, metallic cape. She gazed at a tunnel in front of her.
