Brutal news from Bar Pilar for their owners, employees, and for the neighborhood: They'll close permanently after this weekend. Deferred COVID rent came due. They sought an extension hoping for recovery, but foot traffic stayed low while and costs rose. There was no sustainable path forward. 😥
