Ein weites, in sanften, erdigen Tönen gehaltenes Landschaftsgemälde unter einem verhangenen, blassgelben Himmel.Im linken Vordergrund fällt ein grasbewachsener Hügel diagonal nach rechts ab. Auf ihm wachsen vereinzelte Wildblumen und markante, dunkle Disteln. Vom Hügel aus geht der Blick über eine riesige, flache Ebene, durch die sich von rechts nach links ein breiter, ruhiger Fluss schlängelt. Die gesamte Szenerie ist in ein dunstiges, atmosphärisches Licht getaucht, sodass die weite Landschaft am Horizont fließend mit dem wolkenverhangenen Himmel verschmilzt.

@freval Von der Geschichte her: Behinderte gab es schon immer, und sie hatten ihren Platz in der Gesellschaft. Von Blinden, Krüppeln, Blöden, Aussätzigen wurde viel berichtet.

Wappen von Kröpelin in Mecklenburg. Ein Behinderter ohne Füße kriecht auf Holzklötzern . Nach der Sage sollte die Stadt Kröpelin soviel Land umfassen, wie der "Kröpel" an einem Tag schaffte, zu umrunden.
