Had a fun time out today at the Presidio Tunnel Tops park in San Francisco with the @usssequoia.bsky.social crew for Unity Day! #shoreleave

Selfie of me at the big lawn area of Presidio tunnel tops park. I’m wearing a blue and white sundress and a floppy straw hat with a blue band and bow. In the distant background is the palace of fine art building.

The view facing the other direction from where I was sitting. The Golden Gate Bridge is centered in the photo.

A photo of our picnic table with coloring supplies, snacks, and a jar of cookies. A bunch of our group is sitting around the table drawing / doing coloring pages.

Got up early this morning to clean the beach with my @usssequoia.bsky.social crewmates! Then we had an excellent brunch together.

That includes pens, too. They probably don’t have one. Huge props to the person at ST Mission Chicago who saved my ass by taking away my paint marker and priming it while we were in line. She knew her shit and I got my metal sign signed:

A metal sign with a starry background and an illustration of a Vulcan salute. It says “Live long and prosper - Live loud and proud”

Clockwise from the top left, is signed by Michelle Hurd, Doug Jones, George Takei, Ian Alexander, and Anthony Rapp.

All the signatures are in the aforementioned paint marker, which was green.

Also George Takei has the most beautiful signature, holy shit, you can read that from across the room and looks EXACTLY like his signature at the end of Star Trek VI.

I got the sign from startrek.com, but it is discontinued, sorry 😞
